Service men/women to Keep in our Prayers...feel free to add to the list

Hey guys -

My husband is on the USS Pinckney, which, if you have seen the news today, suffered a few losses as a result of a bus crash in South Carolina, while on the way to a wreath-laying ceremony at Mr. Pinckney's grave. Please keep these families in your prayers.

I hope it is ok to post this here..My brother's best friend went to Texas to begin his training....keeping all military in my prayers

Just a note to pray for my son Cpl Joshua Heidecker, USMC. He has not been in Afghanistan or Iraq, but is deployed aboard Navy ships for protection, etc. He had just returned, but says he will be deployed again soon. They are also talking about extending their deployment time.

A good friend just returned from the Middle East. He has been deployed 3 times in the last 2 1/2 years. I am so happy he is back in the U.S. and safe. He is in the Air Force.

I continue to support all of our troops and wish them the best. Thank you, troops, for all you have done. :)

prayers please for our young friend Kyle (aka Fred) -- he's in Iraq -- just lost his dad 3 months ago. He's a good kid to have this heavy a burden starting out. (prayers please for his mom Deb, too) Thanks. Coleen

Please pray for my friend Tracy. Her DH was killed Friday in Iraq. He'd only been there 2 weeks. He had an 11 year old DD named Skylar that she loves like her own. Right now the DD's mother is being very kind and good to Tracy - but she's not always been that way. Please pray that she'll see how much Tracy needs that little girl - and how much Skylar needs Tracy. She can't have any children of her own.

God bless all the servicemen and women and their families.

Please add my nephew; Seaman Robert Ruchalski, currently training for submarine duty in Groton, CT.

Thanks
TJ

My BIL leaves again June 2nd for Fallujah, Iraq. He will be gone 9mo to one year. He was there last year for 7mo. He is a reservist in the Marine Corp. He is a GYSGT, Truck Co, Headquarters Battalion.

He is leaving behind my sister and their three children ages 13, 9, and 7. He's been a Marine for over 19 years.

I will pray for him and the many others scattered throughout the world serving in our armed forces.

I am fortunate enough to now have my husband home after a year, but not without his share of close calls and a 1 month stay at Walter Reed for Leischmeniasis. In Oct we lost my friend's boyfriend (Rest in Peace Mikey!) in a tank accident. The last 2 months has been a joyous time here in the 4ID, but we also see the daily reports of our brothers and sisters in 1 CAV. My thoughts and prayers go out to everyone with loved ones still deployed.

My hubby: SSG Timothy Reardanz
1-10 cav / 4th ID

Proud Wife of a 4ID Soldier!
WE GOT HIM!!!

My uncle, is there. His name is Paul Lawler. I hope he comes home safely!, as well as all the other soldiers...

New here-- but have a few:

my nephew Chris- 1st Cavalry currently in Baghdad

and the guys from 1st Cav that we write to:
Sgt Tim
Specialist Zach
Specialist Noah
Private Ken

My nephew Chris is a handsome, lovely, kind and gentle Marine Lance Corporal. He is a combat engineer attached to infantry and will leave for a very scary part of Iraq in a few weeks.

I'd appreciate any and all suggestions for care packages and any prayers and good thoughts you could send his way.

Thanks and prayers said for all those in harms way!

I would like to add my husband to the list he is a Medic in the Army National Guard.

Thank you for your support of our troops.

I just found otu this week that a good friend of mine is going to be going to Iraq sometime early next year..not sure when yet,,but all we konw is that hes going..

I do not have anyone in my immediate family serving in the "Iraq"/"Afghanistan" conflict but I do feel that the war on terror is real and it is in my families "Heart" to at least acknowledge those that are serving. "Godspeed" Men and Women of this great country...you have our support 100%.

You are the true "SPIRIT" of America!

To the "Baby-Boomers"...if you are fortunate enough to still have parents alive who served in War II...give them a hug and a boat load of thanks for helping to bring this country to the level we're at today.

Let's not forget...This is the greatest country in the world and we have it pretty good here. If you disagree, then move to a 3rd world country and let me know how that works out for you...

I would like to add my DH to the list as well. He left last week for a two year deployment. Our kids (8, 5 & 2) are devastated, but we know that Daddy has an important job to do. He is with the Army National Guard as well!

Put my hubby on your prayer list please. He's a Colonel in the USAFR and although he is home at this time I can't tell you how often he has disappeared (after receiving a middle of the night phone call) since 9/11....we never know where he's going, when he'll come home or if he'll come home...and since he can't share we remain in the dark. It is what it is.

To my daddy in heaven...thank you for helping during WWII.
To my cousin George...also in heaven...we have no idea what happened to you in Viet Nam but we miss you to this day.

Love, peace and strength to all of the families of our servicemen, policemen and firemen...all heroes in our eyes.

Please add my DD's BF Chris to the prayer list. He is in Iraq (for at least a year with at least 11 months to go). He is in the Guard and his unit was called up. May God bless all of the brave men and women serving our country.
