Seating Request with another family

We found out that friends will be on the same cruise we are on in September. Is it to late to request sitting at he same table for dinner with them. I was not sure how far in advance Disney needs to know.

Not at all! Just give DCL a call and they will add it to your reservation. After checking in at the port, check to be sure (your table number will be in your key to the world) if not, head to the dining changes area to ask for a switch. Have a great cruise!

Be aware that there are two levels of linking. Just requesting that the reservations be linked, you will be fully linked meaning you can make reservations for shore excursions, adult dining, spa, etc. and see their schedule (they can see yours as well). Even if you don't mind all of that, only one can be in their reservation online at a time -- if you've already booked your shore excursions, etc. that might not be a problem. If you just want to have dinner together, request that the reservation be "linked for dining only". They don't do seating for the cruise until a week or two beforehand so you still have plenty of time to link the reservations.

We sailed with our neighbors twice and just linked the reservations and we were put at a huge table together.
Have fun!!!!

We surprised my inlaws on our last cruise. They didn't know we were sailing with them. We were able to get them to combine us to one table that day by talking with the dining team after embarkation (and after we surprised the family) :cool1:.
