Run Now! It’s Wine 0’Clock in WDW…Cupcakes Gone W&D16

Well at least you have something to show for it afterwards! :rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2: Other than the even fatter bloated tummy that I am going to come home with!

I got the fatter bloated tummy too! Although the stomach flu is taking good care of that bloat this weekend!

2015 miles in 2015
Goal 1,000 personal miles

Personal November Mileage: 130 miles

I reached my goal of 125-150 miles. This has been one of my best months all year long…funny what a little deadline pressure does for motivation.

Personal YTD Mileage: 866 miles

Only 134 more miles to reach my goal of 1,000 miles in 2015. Sure hope the weather cooperates in December and my motivation keeps going.

YTD Team RunDMC -Kafi, Tammie, Buffy & Amy H): 1641.71 miles in 2015 (374 miles left to go)...THANKS KAFI FOR THE UPDATE

Half Marathons
Goal of 12 Half Marathons in 2015

YTD: 12 Completed

036.jpg
I am happy to report that on Wednesday I completed the Wizarding World Half Marathon (plus an extra mile) doing a trail hike in a nearby state park. What a beautiful day to get out there and get #11 DONE!

048.jpg

Thursday morning the ice storm started moving in…mostly rain but I knew that it was get it done or it would not get done the rest of the weekend. So I bundled up put on a rain jacket and put in enough miles to claim marathon #12 for 2015…the Black Friday Half Marathon. It was cold, wet, windy and MISERABLE but I reached my goal of #12 half marathons in 2015…something totally to be thankful for on Thanksgiving! I do feel a little odd having the last ones be virtual, but could not help due to schedules and finances.

Food/Drink Budget is the biggest parts of my trips although drunk artwork purchases may be the second biggest part.
Drunken Art purchase!!! That is a hoot!!

I agree that I am going to have to put more to food and drinks so many, many choices and things to taste.

Tammie,
Because of YOU, I have been inspired to sign up for some virtual races. I can make up my own rules, low key and what you left out is you did the last 2 back to back!! That is epic in my book:flower1:

SWAGBUCKS BABY...I am so sick of answering darn surveys but I am determined to pay for all my drinking and eating by doing this for the next 11 months.

I am sooooooo tired of answering surveys too lol!! But hey, I can buy a drink from WDW & maybe a F&W kiosk item so far lol.

You are a rockstar my dear friend!! You have done so well with the races this year & mileage!! Over the last few weeks I have been putting together my running goals for this next year...they scare me already lol!!

I got the fatter bloated tummy too! Although the stomach flu is taking good care of that bloat this weekend!
Talk about that! Normally food is just food to me at Disney but because we have never done wine and Dine, I came home with 6lbs! Man, I'm telling you a sip here and bite there :sad2:! Those kiosk.....

I need the motivation to get out there on VERY LONG DISTANCE days and virtual races are helping with that motivation. I am going to set up my very own distance motivation to be announced after the first of the year...or when I get this stilly 2015 challenge done.

I am sooooooo tired of answering surveys too lol!! But hey, I can buy a drink from WDW & maybe a F&W kiosk item so far lol.

Shooting for 100 points a day which would be $30 a month times 11 months months should give me a little pocket money...plus there is Walmart savings catcher and hopefully more shopkicks (if the weather would have cooperated on black Friday I was looking at almost $50 for just walking in stores and scanning...my ds#1 wanted to go and do it...darn ice).

You are a rockstar my dear friend!! You have done so well with the races this year & mileage!! Over the last few weeks I have been putting together my running goals for this next year...they scare me already lol!!

I think my goals for next year are going to be pretty simple...only for sure race is with you in July...:scratchin:scratchin:scratchin:scratchin and of course W&D.

Talk about that! Normally food is just food to me at Disney but because we have never done wine and Dine, I came home with 6lbs! Man, I'm telling you a sip here and bite there :sad2:! Those kiosk.....

Calories don't count at Disney, calories don't count with friends, we will we walking & running, we will be sharing...WE WILL HAVE FUN!!!:jumping1:

Whet Your Appetite Wednesday:
Favorite WDW Breakfast (Part 2)-Mickey Bar

Trying to find ways to pass the next 336 days, so Wednesday is going to be officially called “Whet Your Appetite Wednesday” because “Cupcakes” like eating and most of this trip will be focused around Wine & Dine. Since the menus are not up for next year until the mid Spring, I figured we could pass the time away with some of our favorite dining experiences or foods from around WDW!

Normally, I am not a breakfast type of girl but on vacation it is a totally different…I LOVE BREAKFAST. My normal touring plans is to be up early for EMH and then as the park opens for everyone head off for a great meal that will last well until late afternoon. WDW has some great places and great menu items…so much so that I am going to have to go with Breakfast for a couple of weeks since I can’t pick just one place or one item.

IMG_3987.jpg

I know you are probably scratching your head right about now and totally shaming me as a parent, but it has always been a tradition in my family since I was little that while on vacation you have to eat ice cream at least 1 time for breakfast. Crazy, I know but I have since passed this tradition to my own children and I can’t think of a much better ice cream treat at WDW then a Mickey Bar!

What is a crazy food tradition you have or crazy/unique breakfast find at WDW?

Count ME as crazy!! I have been known to eat a chocolate covered rice Krispy treat for breakfast, recently a dumbo cupcake um well if my Carmel corn would have lasted that would have been breakfast.

I love that picture of your kids eating Mickey bars!! That is so special and you get the mom award for making memories. One day I am going to advance to the 21st century and learn how to post pictures!!

It’s 5 O’Clock Friday

boardwalk-belle-vue-lounge-8.jpg

In order to pass the time away, instead of Cupcake Friday’s we are going to take a look at cocktails around the world…since we are partly fueled by cocktails. Maybe we can find them a little more readily then the cupcake disappointment we experienced on our PHM Cupcake Crawl!

The BC/YC have been explored so let’s take a little stroll around to the Boardwalk and see what we can find at the Belle Vue Room.

I see lots of already familiar drinks from other places already visited, must find something new and unique!

So bartender…

Pour me somethin' tall an' strong,
Make it a Scottish Raspberry Lemon Drop
It's only half-past twelve but I don't care.
It's five o'clock somewhere.

lemon drop.jpg

Hendrick's, Muddled Raspberries, fresh Lemon Juice,
and Agave Nectar topped with Wildberry Foam

What are you having?

OMG I am late to the party as usual!!
But now that my school obligations are over until the Golf tournament, means it's playtime with the Cupcakes!! WooHoo!!!
Of course my computer is being stupid so I will have to write up my intro and copy and paste later.

I just wanted to mark my place in line.

I started with all 3 of those about 2 weeks ago. Have a whopping $4 with Savings Catcher (the woes of living in a small town lol...only comparing prices to Dollar General & similar). Shopkicks & Swagbucks I have almost $15 each. Every little bit helps.

66 dollars of free money:banana:!

Ok so I think this Belle Vue sounds fab-U-lous!!! I am all over that Godiva chocolate martini or either the Godiva liquor flight. Yum yum yummy!!

All those who will endure surveys my quick rewards is another survey house. They pay with PayPal and no minimal cashout. They have Disney gift cards as well. I have been with them for years so they send me surveys that fit my demographic and I qualify for. I like them because they do pay out through PayPal.

$66 of eating and drinking money I don't have to budget! I might have to look into Survey House during Christmas! Thanks for the tip! Godiva liquor flight....:jumping1: how did I miss that one!

Five O'clock Friday...maybe the Tropical Infusion Cocktail :confused3

Already had that a couple of stops ago...

Race Report:
Women Rock Dallas Starlet Challenge

November 21, 2015

I (We-Cammy, Betsy and myself) actually competed in a race event this weekend in Dallas (Plano) and had a mini Cupcake Reunion!!! Betsy flew in from Boston to spend the weekend with us before heading to Austin for Thanksgiving with her sister/parents. When we were first started putting this trip together, we had no idea that a run would be involved until we found the Women Rock Series was happening on the same weekend and the SWAG caused both Cammy and I to take notice…a VERA BRADLEY weekender!

In fact the entire swag and bling package was awesome Vera Bradley Weekender (customized for race…with little hidden runners and Women Rock in the pattern), race t-shirt and race jacket just for signing up! Then at the finish line you received a pendant, champagne flute, and 4 Medals for completing the entire challenge…10K, 5K, and 2.5 K back to back for a total of almost 11 miles! The race morning was a bit cool and lots of find…so much so that the “MEN” at the end handing out medals had to keep their clothes on for the most part. Betsy really enjoyed the MEN, me not so much as I always remember now that these boys are the same age of my children for the most part.

We had a great time enjoying both the fall beauty of the course and each other’s company! It is certainly an event that I would do over again. It was well organized and everyone was friendly and kind…best of all it was a totally non-threatening event for us Back of the Pack participants!

Afterwards we celebrated with some Sprinkles Cupcakes, an adult milkshake (Amaretto Oreo) and a burger, a little shopping and then went to a Girls Night Out Painting Session!

Sunday before taking Betsy back to the airport and then driving home ourselves we took Betsy to the Fort Worth Stockyards for a little “TEXAS” fun

And then found our new Dallas Cupcake post race celebration…

The Tipsy Cupcake where they infuse cocktails into the Cupcakes AFTER baking. Sadly, they were out of cupcakes so we settled for their cocktail cake balls! OH MY! Then it was back to the airport for Betsy and a long drive home for us…A GREAT GIRLS RUN-CATION!

True to form…we found Disney even in Dallas!

Hold. The. Phone.

Y'all came to Fort Worth. Went to the Stockyards. And ... didn't go to Joe T. Garcia's???

I'm following closely now, in case you are near my stomping grounds again ...

Woo $66! That's probably smarter than my way of just placing it on a credit card and paying it off the next time my husband bonuses.
