It could be the DVC version of the settlement and outpost. I could see some sort of segregation of the DVC portion.
While flipping through pics, I found these for the proposed cabins on the water. Does this design seem to have the same theme as the new Fort cabins?
R********** Cabins
Sigh. It's the suspense that's killing me!! Build it or can it completely. I just hope that if it happens, they rethink the design concept. Although the current plans for 'that place' would 'mesh' with the redesigned cabins.
Yeah, I saw that on the DVC board.
Well it's like I said in post #17 of this thread, they worked under the radar to put in that rectangular parking lot across from the new TCD Barn. They didn't build it so the horse CM's could have more room to park.
There may be a mention of the new DVC resort behind Pioneer Hall during D23 this weekend. It might still carry the R********** name or have gotten a new flavor/name.
But something is coming.

Actually, 10 months with the crane does NOT sound like a long time for the high (10-story) construction to be around. I know after Aug 25 that the interior work will still continue towards completion but until we see the size and floor plan (still the same as R*?), it doesn't sound long in the grand scheme. Which means to me they will be moving quickly.Disney Gets Permission for Construction of 10-Story Hotel at Reflections Lodge Site
Ed posted about the crane permit the other day, but this adds more details about "to construct a 10 story hotel". Permit dates extend from October 14, 2024, through August 14, 2025, so not sure if there will be anything to see by the DIS Meet in early November.
I was thinking the same thing when I saw that, especially with TDC building timelines. This is a net positive project though and those get done MUCH faster than a new attraction.Actually, 10 months with the crane does NOT sound like a long time for the high (10-story) construction to be around. Wonder if they're going modular? Then all they have to do initially is set them in place.I was thinking the same thing when I saw that, especially with TDC building timelines. This is a net positive project though and those get done MUCH faster than a new attraction.
10 stories isn't tall and if they worked on a normal or accelerated timeline, I could see them having the tall infrastructure done. Remember, much of the foundational/utility work was nearly done. I suspect they were a few months away from going vertical before things were paused.

OK Gang-of-all-knowledge....I seem to remember that in the plans/'concepts' that were released 'the first time around', TDVCTMNBN's main bldg was only 4 stories. Now it's going to be 10?
Am I misremembering?
