Problem Downsizing Number in Party?

I originally thought there would be a possibility 4 of us going on an upcoming trip to BCV so I booked a studio for 4 and made all of our dining reservations for 4 however, it looks as though now there will just be 2 of us going. Will there be a problem with me downsizing the reservation to 2?

Most, but not all, Disney restaurants seat a party of two at a table designed for four. Some do have some tables specifically sized for a small party.

I would call and see if they can switch you to a party of two. If not, just keep the reservation you have and explain when you check-in at the restaurant that there will only be two of you.
