When I stand still for too long I get dizzy and faint. I used to have to take expensive medications but if I stay in good shape I don't as long as I manage what I'm doing carefully. (Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome) I would be visiting with my husband and 2 kids.
If a rollator is allowed I could use that to sit on in line. I wouldn't need it if a line moves continuously. I would feel so silly using a wheelchair and using the ADA entrance for the rides where the queue is not chair friendly. Healthy athletic appearing people popping in and out of a chair looks bad to people who don't know.
I'm actually considering spending a fortune for a VIP tour but I know I will be standing a lot then too. It's lines that last longer than a half hour or so where I would really need to be able to sit or lean on something.
I want my kids to enjoy parades and shows. I think I will just have to have my husband take the 2 and 7 yo kids to those because standing for hours waiting for them just won't happen for me and I don't want to deny them fun.
What would you do if you were me? I don't mind waiting but fainting in line is embarrassing and will disrupt other people. I'm not rich but I'm willing to pay more to make sure my kids had as much fun as I did as a kid in the Magic Kingdom.
