Paying before the final payment date?

I was thinking I would pay the final balance within the next couple of days for our Jan cruise. the final payment date is 10/29 but i want to be able to make all of my ressies right on that day so I was thinking to just pay now.

Is there any reason I shouldn't pay now? This would expedite me getting on the "my cruise" area and booking all Palo and excursions on 10/29 right? TIA!

Its up to you, I have my panamacruise in August 08 fully paid up, to avoid exchange rate movements, DCL gets your money, but you will not be able to book and ressies until your window opens 75 days -all, 90 days casterway club, 105 days Suite cat 1-3.

You cannot book ressies if not paid up.

You're only 9 days away. I say pay away. That way there will be time to process the payment so you can start your ressies on 10/29. I am thinking of doing the same thing in December when my final payment is due.

I would go ahead and pay early.

We paid for our cruise about a week prior to the due date. We always need to book excursions, Palo, ADR's(Disney World), etc. the very second :surfweb: we are able to. There is no reason for you not to go ahead and pay it off.

Go ahead and pay it. At this point, it is really basically "Due". Now we do not pay our final payment until right before ressies open because we like to keep our money in our own account and gain intrest. At this point it is DUE, so just pay it, a few days makes no difference. As my little brainiatic DS says, a few days is not even enough to make a difference in the intrest cycle(Mind you he is only 9):hippie:

Pixie we must be on the same trip as our payment is due on the 29th too for our January 12th cruise.

I (as well as the other 5 cabins that our family has) paid in full this week and were able to book all of our excursions, spa appointments and Palo ressies. We were able to get all of the times that we wanted and now we are all set!

Another way that I looked at it was that if I paid this week or on the 29th it was still going to show up on the same credit card statement so it made no difference what so ever.

So I say make the payment and book away!

Well . . .for us we'll use our Chase Disney VISA earning 6 months no interest.

We cruised before allowing us to book Palo at 90 days instead of 75 IF WE ARE PAID IN FULL.

I am torn between billing cycle dates and booking PALO. We got our PALO times last time at 75 days so I am thinking that I will split the difference. If I pay between 85 and 80 days I bump to the next billing cycle AND still get my PALO times ahead of the others waiting for the 75 day mark. :lmao: :confused3 The things I stress over!!!
