Four Seasons is building resort on that land. A golf course will likely remain. Not sure if it will be one of them or some new design.
Other than the PGA tour courses (Palm/Magnolia), it seems like Disney is not doing well with the golf courses. LBV is old, so I can see them keeping that. The smaller one is probably not as desireable to build on, so I can see them keeping that for a while too.Actually, the Osprey Ridge and Eagle Pines courses are much more in demand than the Palm and Magnolia. That is evidenced by the current pricing for play. The highest pricing is for Osprey Ridge, then Eagle Pines, then Magnolia/Palm and finally LBV. Ove the last couple of years, the Magnolia and Palm have under gone some refurbishment where the grass on the greens was upgraded to new strains and the bunkers were reworked. LBV is currently closed for refurbishment and I assume it is getting the same treatment. By the way, LBV was built at roughly the same time as the Palm and Magnolia courses.
I'm not sure that the statement that Disney is not doing well with golf courses is necessarily factual. There are times when tee times are tough to get and they always seem full when we play them. I just think the property that has Osprey Ridge/Eagle Pines was the best property available for a development like the Four Seasons and money spoke.

Thanks for the information and thoughts. I just thought Palm/Magnolia was a draw due to the PGA Tour. At a minimum it has tour there. I guess.
