We're looking at our 2016 options and we have narrowed them down to the following:
1/ March Break -- My son's school will be in March Break for March 14th to 18th (we'll go for 10 nights --- he'll only miss one day or two days max of school.) Discounts possible but our last trip in March had really high crowd levels....
or
2/ End of August -- No school to miss but we're a little worried about the weather (hot/humid/hurricane season) so we're thinking we'd do 12 nights, as we figure we won't want to be out at the parks during the heat of the day. Crowds will be lighter than our other two options and discounts seem to be offered normally.
or
3/ Christmas Vacation --- While we'd love to spend a Christmas at WDW it really is the worst of both worlds in terms of crowds and prices. The weather can also be a bit of a wild card... (We've done early December several times and loved it... but don't want to take DS out of school for more than a day or two so early December isn't in the cards for a few years.)
Our plans are to split stay between CR and BC as we really like the option to walk to the parks. Free dining isn't really too much of a draw for us as we find that it's just too much food.
What would you do in our situation?
