Official ( No Spoiler) Bachelorette Thread ~Kaitlyn Gets The Vote!

I'm trying to watch this but it's tough. I want Bachelor in Paradise to come back! I really don't like either girl so I may just fast forward to see who gets picked. I really, really dislike Britt so I'd pick Kaitlyn. I wish they'd started with totally new girls.

Yeah, I think it started out with one contestant being so nervous & drinking so much. Plus the night is supposed to be very long and they aren't given food, only alcohol.

But, now, it's morphed into having a drunk there for drama.

It looks like someone punched him out in one eye. It looks like he has a bruise that's healing. Maybe someone else got a creepy vibe from him too a few weeks before the start of the show.

I said this on the Chris/Bachelor thread:

There was a Star Trek: The Next Generation episode in which a woman was a Metamorph. She'd change for whatever different guy she was with into whoever they wanted her to be. It wasn't until she was with the guy she'd marry, that her personality would finally solidify into who she'd be the rest of her life.

Britt reminds me of a Metamorph. If the guy has kids, she suddenly LOVES kids and family. If he's from Nashville, she LOVES Nashville. If he's spiritual, spirituality means more to her than anything.

These guys jobs crack me up. Auto Finance manager? So why not just say he works at a Car dealership?

Former investment banker? FORMER? What does that mean? Was he fired and now he's flipping burgers?

Healer? Does he seriously put that on his 1040? HEALER? And why did he have a black eye and why didn't he 'heal' it before the show?

Entrepreneur - I can't find a job so I just made that up so I won't sound unemployed

Junkyard specialist? Haha, does he spend his days sorting through junk looking for things to sell on craigslist?

And the law guy who is studying for the bar. If he is seriously studying for the bar, he wouldn't be taking off several months to film a show.

And what about the amateur sex coach? His comment about if he hasn't tried these things he isn't teaching them yet...or something like that? What does that MEAAAAN? I don't get it.

Singer Songwriter = I busk for money to buy a burger. A label producer once told me, "The difference between a homeless person and a musician is this...the homeless person at least gets a hot meal down at the shelter."

I'd want to know what these guys really did...what is their earning potential and was I going to be supporting them for the rest of their lives.

Last night was uncomfortable at best. I'm looking forward to the show moving forward from this weirdness of two girls.

I agree about all the guys' jobs. What a strange mix they got this season. Usually there's only 2 or 3 with those "odd" jobs ... this time it's the regular jobs that are kept at a minimum.

Definitely strange jobs. Seems like they are just a bunch of losers who hope to eventually get a career out of being on TV.

What do the girls do for a living? I remember Brit stands on a corner and hands out free hugs but what else do they both do for work?

I am definitely team Kaitlyn, Brit seems so fake to me. I agree with the PP, she morphs into whatever she thinks the guy is looking for.

Britt is a waitress from Hollywood. Ie, doing whatever it takes to get her big break, or at a minimum, her 15 minutes.

For some reason I thought that Kaitlyn taught dance. It would have been an easy profession to move to Iowa had Chris chosen her.

I wasn't going to watch last night but since it came on after DWTS I just kept sitting on the couch and kept watching. Having two Bachelorettes and making the guys choose is so wrong in so many ways. As one of the girls said last night, it's another time of hoping for affirmation and then getting booted off. I'm not a fan of really either of them but if it has to be one of them then I choose Kaitlyn. I'd much rather though see someone new though. Maybe one of the black guys will go far and he can be up for the next Bachelor. It's long past time for one.

That is the thing with Britt though.
She has something just radiates from her. Like some kind of magnetism.... She will always be THE it-girl when she walks in any room.

I actually LOVE that about her.

Personally, I would be a lot more like Kaitlyn.

But, if it wasn't for Britt's tears and drama, I would be TEAM BRITT all the way.

Me too. I liked Britt better then Kaitlin last season. But I think her emotions will cause the boys to run away if she makes it through.
