FAQ:
Q: How do I print them, they are grainy?
A: If the picture is a thumbnail, you need to click on that. It will take you to the photo hosting site of the DISigner.
Once you are there, find the options drop down menu (Photobucket) and download the image to your computer. For
4 shared just right click and download.
Q: Where do I find these DISigns and how do I get one made for me?
A: If you are looking for a DISigner to help you out please check out the
Creative DISigns forum where you can find someone to help you create exactly what you are looking for. You can browse through their design threads and request from your favorite, or you can start a new thread with a requests and if a DISigner's interest is sparked they will help you out. Check out the signatures of some of the DISigners. They have links to their shared sites that you can look through. If you see something you would like to have, post a request with the one you would like and what you want on it.
Q: I would like to share. How do I post them from my computer to here?
A: There are many free image hosting sites you can sign up with. Try ImageShack, Photobucket, Flickr, 4shared. Once you sign up
you can upload your pictures and then post the url from there to your post on here. New pics and Ideas are always welcome and encouraged!
If you just want to share, but don't have time to help personalize, just say so in your post.
Q: How do I get the images on a T-shirt or Magnet?
A: If you want to make your own t-shirt all you need is to buy t-shirt transfer paper. Light transfer paper is good on white shirts. Dark transfer paper should always be used on colored fabric and you can use it on white. I prefer dark transfers because they seem to hold up better in the wash.
Magnet sheets/strips can be bought at office stores, Wal-Mart, Target or craft stores. You can buy printable magnet sheets that go through your inkjet printer. I prefer to print my images on cardstock then laminate them and attach magnet strips to the back. They seem to stay on the doors better.
Q: Can I add my own text to the images so I don't bother anyone?
A: Absolutely! If you have an image editing program, you just need to save the image you want to use and add text in your program. If you don't have one, you can still do it by using Microsoft Word, Publisher or Power Point. If you check out my blog I have a few tutorials on how to use Word to help you along the way.
Q: Where do I get a certain font?
A: You an get Disney-like fonts from many free font sites like Dafont.com, or, my favorite,
Mickey Avenue Here you will find fonts like
Waltograph and Haunted Mansion inspired
Ravenscroft.
