Need advice on Williamsburg, VA

We enjoyed Marriott's Ford Colony several years ago. The on-property store and grocery is almost useless and the activities are not up to Disney. But the suites are roomy, well-built and well-furnished. In July the outdoor temperature at Williamsburg was slightly cooler than the surface of the sun, so we enjoyed a lot of pool time. And you do need a car.

Has anyone stayed at both sides of Marriott's Manor Club? I will be with a 3yr and 6yr who will want to go to the pool a lot and probably the kids activities too. Are the pools walking distance from the rooms?

Then click on the resort map and that'll give you an idea. Depending on location it can be quite a way to the pool on the original side. Of course for 1 BR or studio units, only the Sequel is a possibility.

Dean,
Thanks for the map. It looks like the kiddie pool, playground and activity center are all at the new side. I guess it will be Marriott's Manor Club Sequal for us.:woohoo:

Thanks,
Michael
