My Halloween Birthday report! Trip report starts pg 4

Day 2
Day two turned out to be a much better day There seemed to be a little less crowding. We started the day with oatmeal and headed over to the parks a few minutes after DCA opened which was 8. I took shy to the chamber of commerce to get her first visit button and the boys went to try and get fast passes for RSR however the line for Fast pass was an hour long and we figured why bother just wait in the hour long line for the ride which turned out to be only 30 mins

This ride was even better then the first as it was a shorter wait and we got Ramones instead of Louigy and Ramone is my second favorite car ^-^
Next we headed over to Louigy's flying tires

Next I wanted to do Maters Junkyard Jamboree I think its sooo cute and was really looking foreward to it. However no one else wanted to do it Finally Austin agreed to since it was my birthday and all Meanwhile Jared and Shy got some Churro bites (which Jared says are Awesome) and took our pictures. Afterwards Austin was glad he did it

After that Austin and Shy hadnt eaten anything yet and Jared wanted to eat again so we decided to try the Disneyland Starbucks! I got myself some fruit
and a pumpkin spice

Jared Shy and Austin all got Breakfast sandwhichs and they were all cold in the middle Jared took his back twice before it was warm (and the rest of the paranoid group felt full of spit ha ha)

The line in the starbucks was pretty insane people really seem to need there starbucks lol

Yay for Jared liking the HMH.....I got to see it for the first time last December and loved it!! Boooooooooooo on the gross kids on Pirates

Why doesn't the gates hand out your bracelets when you enter the park early in the day (still showing ticket)......seems to me they'd be saving themselves a lot of extra hassle. But with that said, people could "lose" them and then you have unpaid party guests. I guess there really isn't a right answer here. Sad you can't trust people anymore. The CM's still should have been way more polite about where the end of the line was: "are you looking to get a party bracelet??, if so, this is a break in the line to allow guests to pass thru but you will find the end of the line down there". That would have been the proper way to handle this instead of assuming you were just there to "cut" the line!

I hate having people on top of me when waiting for the parades and such.....you get there early to claim some ground and then you have 15 people cram themselves into a spot for 2 people......so annoying (and these people usually show up right before it starts and expect you to let them in) I'm not sure what that lady was thinking leaving a phone on an unwatched blanket.....how stupid! She deserved to lose it!

I'm glad you at least enjoyed the fireworks!!! Sounds like the amount of people for the parties has grown and they're still selling out of tickets. You can only put so many people in the park before it gets uncomfortable.

I think the wristbands would be pretty hard to loose ( I only just cut mine off Saturday lol) the were pretty heavy duty but Im pretty sure thats the reason. It's the same thing with the shouting CM's the only thing to avoid that would be maybe closeing the parks for an hour and reopening for the party or something like that.

It was really weird I dont even remember seeing a phone on her blanket I just remember thinking really thats how you get to save your spot just put down a blanket and walk away I dunno I always feel at least one party member should be there.

The cast member I bought some hats from told me that the party the time before was dead and he was like its much better when its crowded and I was like hmm I beg to differ ha ha.

I think the fireworks were sooooo cool but I also love Disney Villians so it was right up my alley

So after everybody got something in there tummy's we decided we were going to start in Hollywood pictures back lot and work our way around the park we decided to start with Monsters Inc

Next we thought we would do Muppets Shy was soooo excited but it was closed it wasnt listed as going to be closed but it was the whole trip I guess because of the frankenweenie thing. So we headed over to the animation building Just in time to learn to draw my girl Minnie Mouse!

Next We went to Turtle Talk with Crush Adorable as always and Someone asked an actual question this time and I learned something! I did not know that sea turtles are green because of all the greens they eat.

Shy and I had some fun with the wall while waiting

After that is was down th the sorceres work shop!

I see they've updated the character books.......I think I read they were going to. My kids love doing that every time we go. We're you the only ones in the Crush show?? In 2010, we went and I got to ask a question and Crush talked with me & Mike for quite a while and then had technical difficulties....I felt kinda bad that no one else got to talk with him but got over it!! lol Great job on the Minnie pics!! That has become one of my favorite things to do now (especially to escape the crowds and heat). I've done Goofy & Oswald and both are hanging in my kitchen! Looks like a great Day two so far!!

We then moved on to our group fave from DCA (well accept now we all love RSR) The Tower of Terror

Next we took a stroll through a Bugs land Austin didnt want to Its Tough to be a Bug and so we only did the Chew Chew Train which Austin and I find Hilarious we are easily Amused lol

So after that We all decided to head over to Little mermaid where we discovered how confused we allowed shy to be >.< Austin said to her "isnt little mermaid one of the rides you said you were looking foreward to?" and she said yes and can we do Alice in wonderland after that? and Austin was like no Im sorry thats at Disneyland and she looked at him all cunfuddled and said isnt that where we are. We then had to explain to her that there were two parks. I felt bad that we hadnt been more informative before hand >.<
So on our way to Little Mermaid we got some ice cream because it was sooo hot!
I got a Frozen Banana because it had been ages since I had one and they are actually pretty low in points. We sat on a bench outside the attraction and ate and look who happened to go by!

I was so pleased I freaking LOVE Phineas and Ferb I watch it all the time and have all the music!

During the show there were two little girls who were in costumes as Fireside girls it was SOOO cute It was refreshing to see girls not as princesses (although I love those too)
After the show we had finished our Ice cream and so we got in the wopping 5 min line yay!

Next we did a few non Jared things first we did goofys sky school

After that we did the Silly Symphony Swings and California Screanmin, Then we thought about doing Toy Story Mania together but the wait was an hour and no body felt it was worth it so we headed back over to buena vista street. We did a little shopping and then everyone decided that they were hungry but Austin and Shy's Reservation wasnt until 5:30 They decided they were hungry enough to go see if maybe they could get in early and so Jared and I were on our own again we decided to walk through the bread factory which I actually really enjoyed...I love bread ^-^ and then checked out the Ghriadelli (sp?) factory and then headed over to get something to eat. I wanted to try Cocina Cucamonga Mexican Grill I really wanted Fajitas but all they had was a fajita salad so I got that I wasnt very good it was super spicy though

Jared got Chinese food from the lucky fortune cookery hes been wanting it since out last trip he had the orange chicken and said it was ok

After dinner we headed back to bugs land to do its tough to be a bug

We then decided to head over to Disneyland and did some of fantasy land I cant explain why but I really love fantasy land at night

First came Mr. Toad

Then came Snow white

Then we did Pinochio. We wanted to get some ice cream next but we didnt want to fight the crowds on Mainstreet so we got some cake at River belle Terrace instear and ate it while we waited for Austin and Shy whom were supposed to be meeting us at the Jungle Cruise.

The Cake was good but really rich it sorta gave me a tummy ache
after the cake we headed over to Jungle cruise and waited for Austin and Shy when they arrived we went on my favorite cruise. After that everybody but me was ready to go back to the room which was sad because I lost the vote
So that was the end of day 2

Day 3 MY BIRTHDAY!!!
Today was my very special day I was so excited! We all got to Disneylands gates about 15 mins before opening and I was in my special bright birthday outfit!

First we went to breakfast at Plaza inn with Minnie Mouse! Now I know I did it on purpose and I made the reservation really early so I could have more park time but its always a little odd being the first people there and all the characters are at your table at the same time lol anyway here is who we saw

After Breakfast we went over in to tomorrow land and aquired a fast pass for star tours and then we practically walked on to it lol well everyone but Jared

We then got in line for Buzz but it closed a few minutes aftwe we had gotten in line it was sorta a bummer

Mike had an issue with Star Tours back in 09, he hasn't been on it since it was re-done. I'm sure he'll try it again.

That's too bad that he has to miss out on so many great rides. Has he ever tried getting a motion sickness patch?? I was wondering if that would help? I used one for ocean fishing.....but holy cow was I sick when we got back to land and I took it off. WOOF!!!

He takes a Dramamine every morning honestly some of the things he could probably do but hes afraid of getting sick and it ruining the day.

Day 3 Cont
After we discovered Buzz was closed Jared and I thought we would wait for Austin and Shy to ride Space Mountian but they discovered it was also closed for what ever reason so we all hopped on to the train and stopped in New orleans square for another ride on the Haunted Mansion

After that we of course did another cruise with the pirates

Next we thought about doing splash Mountian and a ride on Winnie the Pooh we did not however do Splash since it was closed again. I only noticed it to be open twice our whole trip >,<

Next we took a very long walk over to big thunder mountain Jareds second favorite (I just realized I didnt mention that the night before we rode big thunder before our cake I can't believe I forgot about it Jared was able to see some of the fireworks whike riding it and he always thought it would be cool and was pretty excited )

We then decided to go use our fast passes for another round on Star Tours and Austin and Shy wanted to check space mountain again.
On the way we stopped in the hub and took some pictures we also saw a HUGE Spide web here and a really big spider on it. It was both horrifying and intresting

We rode star tour and Space mountian had a 2 hour wait so Austin and Shy grabbed a fast pass and we headed to Fantasy Land stopping at the castle for more pictures

Next we went on the Carousel becuase shy REALLY wanted to so here we all are taking our spin lol

We didnt do any of the other fantasy land rides because Shy was afraid of to many strob lights. She can get very ill and even have a seizer if she is over exposed. She did a few rides that had them but we had to shout "HERE ARE THE STROBES and she would hide her face it was a little silly ha ha so we headed over to the Matterhorn

I really liked the new bobsleds I sat in the front and my legs arent terribly long so I even sat indian style it was lovely. Austin who is pretty tall said it was a little tight but he was ok. We did however feel the CM seating us was incredibley rude the first hint was when she asked the group in front of us how many they said 5 and she said "no I dont like that number" she asked us then the group behind us who said 4 and she said "I like that number better come foreward" I didnt understand why they were able to cut because they had an even number then at another point she needed a party of 2 and she was screaming it at the top of her lungs. The last and most irritating thing she did was Austin and Shy wanted to ride in the same car so he asked if we could please sit two and two (since the cars no only hold 3) and she said "They are all connected you get on and off at the same time" and Austin said but we want to sit togther not seperated in two cars and she said "again sir it doesnt matter they are connected" She was refuseing to listen or understand what he was saying and she really just rubbed me the wrong way. So Shy wound up sitting in front of the second car in the train
Next it was time for a cup of tea I was really excited to get to ride with other people in my tea cup! and as usual I got a lovely purple cup

After that we did a ride on Alice which Shy was very excited about and then headed over to one of my favorites Its a Small world

We then fast passed Rodger rabbit and headed over to adventure land for lunch and then the dole whip incident happended. But more on that later its getting late and unfortunatly work requires sleep! boo

I've caught a little of Fantasmic on BTMRR but never the fireworks.....that's usually because I'm on Main Street watching them.....lol

I've heard a lot of people complaining....down right HATING the new Matterhorn seats. Am I reading it right that each person has to have their own seat.....so small children have to sit alone?? I hope that's not right......we won't be able to take the twins on it if that's the case.

Sadly that does seem to be the case I think even if they allowed you to put two guest in a seat there really wouldn't be room. I didn't have any major issues with the new seats but didn't really have any problems with the old.

Ok now where were we oh yes Lunch we decided to have lunch at Bangel BBQ I am not sure what all was order but do know that I discovered the vegetable skewers and they are DELICIOUS love my veggies!

The reason I dont know what all there was, was because we left the boys to get the food and went searching for seating as usual there was nothing around bengal bbq so we went over to Aladdin's oasis It was lovely and shady and there was hardly anybody there. Shy and I sat down at a table to wait for the boys to bring the food while we were sitting we watched some people line up to take pictures with Jasmine and Aladdin soon though Jasmine went to break and the entire line of I'd say 15 people all just walked away leaving Aladdin all alone it was so strange! Shy and I felt bad for him so we took our picture with him and said hello. I wanted to buy the picture but I havnt yet If I do I will post it at the bottom of the report. After we ate I wanted DOLE WHIP my favorite!!!! I wanted to excute my normal Disneyland tradition of getting my Dole Whip and taking it in to the Tiki Room. Everytime I have ever been I always thought the rule was if you bought your Dole whip on the Tiki Room Side you took it in to the Tiki room with you. This time the line on the inside was HUGE the line on the outside was HUGE so wanted to take it into the tiki room we got into that line. Then the CM comes up and Shouts really loud like right in my ear I know that wasnt her intent but hello she could have moved over just a bit. Anyway she shouts that people in this line are going to have to wait 40 minutes because they are going to start serving 3 people on the outside line to 1 on this line. I found this confusing how was I going to take it in to the tiki room that started in 10 mins? Jared asked the Cm why this was happening and she said that to many people were breaking the rule and taking the dole whip back out through the turn style. SO this was how shed decided to make it fair. I did not understand why she didnt just I dont know... enforce the orginal rule. Shy and I got into the inside line and Austin and Jared into the outside line figureing if the other line moved quicker we would just bring it into the tiki room we stood there for 20 mins in both lines the tiki room started shy and I didnt move at all and Austin and Jared moved one persons worth. Jared attempted to reason with the Cms again and she just shrugged and told him to many people were taking advantage as she moved aside to let a man take his dole whip out of the cue. I was so frustrated I almost wanted to cry so we left and my dreams of dole whip and the tikki room on my birthday were dashed! we headed toward jungle cruise but the line was an hour and I was so done standing around I wanted to DO something I try not to be that way generally but I was just upset and frustrated and Jared bless his heart loves me so much he would not take this, he walked off found the nearest CM and said I need to know where the nearest place to get ice cream is and dont tell me Tikki Room! the CM said the Golden horse shoe show was about to start and there was ice cream there so we went there we watched the show and I had delcious mint chocolate chip ice cream! It wasnt perfect or what I wanted but I felt loved because Austin, Shy and Jared really wanted me to feel better and make my birthday special

After my birthday treat we headed on over to Roger rabbit to use our fast pass

after that we took the train back over to tomorrow land so Austin and Shy could use their fast passes for Space Mountian and I wanted to see if we could do Buzz and yay it was open!

After this Jared was wearing out I told him earlier he should go take a nap and come back to meet us. After Buzz he went ahead and decided to do that. So Austin Shy and I were on our own and we headed over to do pirates

After we got off Pirates Shy saw Tarzans Tree house and just HAD to try it so up we went for a climb

Soon Jared was calling and was hungry and so were we so we headed over to DCA to meet him at taste pilots

I wanted to have Dinner at Taste Pilots I couldnt wait for a yummy burger and fries and I had never eaten here before and it was AWESOME the employee was humorous and friendly and the food was DELICIOUS!

After Dinner Shy and Austin were almost asleep an decided to call it a day and head back to the hotel room. Jared and I had plans to see cars land at night and do one last ride on RSR and I wanted one last trip on the little mermaid so off we went
First we rode the little mermaid and then headed over to Cars land!

After this we werent really sure where to go or what we wanted to do Jared was tired but I wasnt ready I wanted to do more Jared said he would take me on the ferris wheel so we started walking that direction but it was closed for world of color and the CM said that the park was closeing so it wouldnt not be reopening I was a little bummed and Jared said we should go back to the room since the park was closeing in an hour and his feet were really hurting so sadly we headed back to the room and that was pretty much the end of our trip the next morning we had breakfast with my grandmother and then sadly headed home!
Well thats all for not I will soon post what little photo pass photos I decided to purchase if I do and I will also post Austin's photos too

We love Taste Pilot's ......the burgers are delicious!!!

Love your nighttime photos in CarsLand.....can't wait to see it for myself!!!
