my envelope is different

When I post a new thread, the envelope beside my question looks like it's sealed. Why is that happening? I haven't noticed anyone elses like that.

Sealed (closed) means you read it and there are no new messages.

If it has a black dot on it, it means that you have posted in that thread.

If it is sealed WITH a black dot, that means go on to another thread as there is nothing new in it
