So today was DHS day. We decided to sleep in a little as we were so exhausted. We had breakfast at the Villa then headed over to DHS. It was HOT today! For some reason, nothing was really appealing to us for counter service and we really needed some AC, so we headed over to the Commisary. I had a burger (which was just OK) and fries--which were a little skimpy. DD had the Asian Salad and asked for grilled chicken. They grilled her a whole boneless chicken breast and put it on the side. Um, Ok. She liked it enough although mentioned there wasn't enough dressing. DH and DS both had the chicken curry and liked it. We had to wait forever for our lunches here. I guess the chicken curry threw them for a loop. Not sure, but they were very nice at the counter and apologized, but I bet we waited 10 minutes just for the curry. It was nice to sit in the AC for awhile though. DH ordered the chocolate mousse and liked it. The rest of us got strawberry shortcake but DS was the only one of us who liked it. The food choices at this park are a little lacking IMO.

50's Prime Time Cafe: Our ADR was for 6:50 and as usual, the place was packed. They took us right away and seated us at a table with a TV, which I was hoping for. Our waitress was awesome. Funny, friendly, informative and efficient. We had a great time here. My kids had been talking about the PB & J shakes for weeks and they each ordered one of those. DH ordered a chocolate shake and I ordered a root beer float. All were excellent. The shakes here are to die for, but sooooo filling. DH and DS ordered the fried chicken (which I wish I had done), DD ordered the meatloaf, which she loved. (I wasn't crazy about the sauce on it) I order the tuna casserole, which, in theory, sounded delish, but the tuna (fresh tuna) was way overcooked and very dry. It came on a bed of egg noodles with bread crumb topping. It was a very large portion and I ate about half of it. For dessert, DH and DD opted out. DS had the smores (yum) and I had a strawberry sundae. (also yum) We enjoyed our experience here very much. Service was great, love the atmosphere and food (for the most part) was very good.
