    My family is from the town in WV where the story originates. Point Pleasant...

    I was scared out of my mind to visit after I saw the movie!

    The movies were based off events that happened to my friends. Very scurrrrrrry!!

    They were based off my friend Bob who went camping with a group of friends and they never returned home.

    About 8 years ago or so I saw the movie "bully". I couldn't believe how sick these kids were...shocking! The movie itself was very graphic and almost borderline soft core porn at times. I had to read the book after that. It gave a bit more insight into the case!

    i was surprised that "good morning vietnam" didn't make the list on wikipedia. at least, i didn't see it. it was based on the vietnam war experiences of DJ adrian cronauer.

    No, the name is The Mothman Prophecies and stars Richard Gere and Laura Linney (sp?). If you like psychological thriller movies, its a really good one, I definitely recommend it.
