MNSSHP 4:00 PM Entry Confirmed:)

majority of non-DISboard types do think the gate time for parties is 7 pm (as it's stated on the website, etc.), lines do start to build after 6:30 pm...good luck.

I could be really, really wrong here... but last year I am pretty sure we were told we could begin arriving at 4PM when we bought our tickets.

of course that would MOST PROBABLY change depending which CM you get on the phone!

Thanks for the info. I was kind of wondering this myself because we have ADRs for CRT at 4:20pm and I know they say to check-in about 15-20 minutes before hand. We do not have park hoppers and we are not doing MK that day either (going to Epcot instead), wasn't sure how we were to get to our ADR, but now that I know the gates will be opened up for party goers at 4pm, we shouldn't have any problems getting in and getting to our ADR :goodvibes.

Good to know, we'll be there the 12th of Oct!!!:thumbsup2

Its what I expected but thanks for sharing the "official" word!

Wait...did anyone get this confirmed by a bus driver?

im waiting for feedback from the friendship boat captains who always know what's going on...

they tend to sea a lot

When will they come up with standard answers to very basic questions!
Here is what was in my inbox this afternoon (my "happy" inquiry is at the very bottom;

Dear Alex,

Thank you for contacting the Walt Disney World Resort.

Regular Theme Park admission is required in order to enter a Theme Park

A date specific, special event ticket is required in order to enter a
Theme Park during the hours of a special event. Special event tickets
are not accepted for admission prior to the start time of the event.

We look forward to your visit to the Walt Disney World Resort Alex and
hope that your time with us is magical.

Hi there,

I purchased 7 tickets for Mickey?s Not soooooo Scary Halloween party
and have a question, I understand that the party starts at 7pm but we
have paid reservations at Cinderella's Royal Table for 535PM that
night, will we allowed in the park to attend our dinner? I heard Disney
may start not letting folks in at 4pm as they have in past years.
Thanks for your help?.and I want YOU to have a magical day?Alex

In a couple of more weeks we should have confirmation from people who have gone to the party what the real deal is. Hoping for 4 p.m. entry:goodvibes

So what if you are already at MK on your regular park ticket can you stay after 7pm to watch the parade but not ride any rides or do they some how have regular park ticket holders leave at park close time?

Hmmmm, is it just me or did anyone else pick up that the email said " as early as 4pm" and not "entry will begin at 4pm" ... Just saying. It looks like Disneys get out clause if they need one. While it doesn't effect me because if our hopper passes, I do hope no-one will be disappointed if they so change it. I'll think happy thoughts :-)

No, because the parades and fireworks are really what people are paying $ for tickets for. The rides are just an added bonus, IMO. You will not be allowed to stay after 7:00-the CMs do a very thorough job of checking for wristbands and escorting people out. You will not be allowed to shop, eat, or sometimes even use the restrooms after 7 without a wristband. You didn't say anything wrong, it's just that this often turns into a debate around here. People get really offended when others try to get for free what they had to pay lots of $ for.

Is the OP willing to forward that message to the rest of us to present at the gate if necessary? :rotfl:

That means that Party guests may enter starting at that time, but they don't "have to" enter that early. They can enter "as early as" 4PM, or any time after that.
I've been posting the 4PM info along with that same phrase (as early as) for years, myself.
