OH! What kind of babies do you have???

We have 4 . a beagle/ Pointer mix (13 1/2) a chihuahua (15) and 2 mini black pugs (1 & 2). Now my GF wants a Great Dane...not sure where we would put that one!!

So glad you liked the barber shop! We went a couple trips ago, it was so much fun. My GF went from Mohawk to completly bald (she was hot). She posed for a pic and they prentended to cut with huge sissors. ( I should find that pic....then again if I post it she might kill me LOL)
I think your cuts went very well, both very handsome!

Jeff - We leave a week from today!
My stylist won't accept children as clients unless their parents are his clients, too. I haven't switched DS to him because he has been living in Santa Fe and just coming to Dallas to do hair like 10 days a month. Now he has moved back so it won't be so tricky to book an appointment.

It seems like we saw a couple of groups in January or February one year, but they don't overrun the parks like they do in July. They should be starting to taper off by the time we get there next Saturday.

I remember seeing lots of groups in Epcot back on our Jan. trip....crazy!

That afternoon at MK was nuts and it was a good b/c we wanted to spend the afternoon at the pool, which was a nice part of the day.....

I'll do a live trip report with pics. DH and DS typically nap every day, so I update my TR while they nap. We travel with at least 4 cameras, so I usually dump the memory cards to the laptop at least once a day.

It will start Saturday night, or possibly Sunday. Since Saturday is our arrival day and we may not have a room until after we get back from the parks that night (DVC check-in is "after 4 PM"), I am not sure how much I will post on Saturday.

I have a pre-trip now (link in my signature) but it's mostly drivel. And no pics yet.

If you read along over the course of our trip I suspect you will spot some familiar faces.

Alrighty! Let's get back to it!

We are heading back to WL after seeing the crowds were starting to come in MK. We thought it would be nice to hang out by the pool and enjoy the resort. WL to me is one those resorts you wanna plan sometime there b/c it's just so cool.....we hopped off the boat and head to the room to change into our pool attire. As we were coming from the boat launch, we walked by the pool and it was not all that crowded. There were lots of chairs around and plenty of good spots....

I usually have a good base tan where I can just lay out and not worry about major sunburn. Jon is part Cherokee, so he can get tanned and not burn at all, as for me, I sprayed on some suncreen and we both headed to the main pool.

I found a nice place over near the bar.....

And my cabana boy, Mr. Chuckwagon was at my service after he made a pin stop...

I had already settled in....Jon met me down there later after he went by the pin cart in the lobby....by this time, the CM that worked there knew him by name.

The sun was out....the water was nice.....and we both went down the slide! I liked it, Jon went down only once, he said he felt too old for it. For me, I went down about dozen times....there were a bunch of kids around 10 years old that welcomed me into their pack and we all timed ourselves to see who could go down the fastest. I'm ready to try that scary clown pool at BWV.....

So we chilled for awhile.....

Jon went to the bar....he asked me what I wanted and I told him "anything tropical!"

He came back with this...

Your basic pina colada....and it was dang good one too!

Jon got a passion furit mojito....he asked the sweet gal that was bartending he would love anything with a glow cube.....They only do glow cube drinks inside the Lodge....What is it with this boy and those glow cubes???

He loved the drink....I tasted of it and it was good....I liked mine better....

Later, we had another round....

We were chillin....

Have any of you seen my tatoo?

We were out there for about an hour and a half....we had a great time! Jon suggested that we go the Boat Rental counter and rent 2 of the Sea Racers! Yay! They looked like fun and we really wanted to both get our own and race!!! As soon as we started filling out the wavier form, we heard thunder.



Maybe next time!

Back to the room I went. I showered and took a nap. Jon went back to check the pin book at the pin cart.

Okay! It was getting dinner time and we were starved! We had an ADR for WCC. We almost decided not to have dinner there after the "wondeful" service we had there yesterday morning.....

We headed down around 530p and the place was packed....our ADR was for 5:40.

We checked in with the hostess at the check in desk and we were given a pager. We waited about 5 minutes and we were seated. I did not request the "quite" area. We were okay with sitting in the main area. It is loud in there...the noise does carry through the lobby....just an FYI for those that are planning!

Our server was Loopy Lisa...A cute little thing she was and very very sweet! She gaves the run down and offered to get us milkshakes. I passed, I told her later maybe, but she brought me a diet coke instead and Jon had regular coke. I love how they serve it in the mason jars! Too cute!

Lisa took our order and we both got the.....

Yep, you guessed it! The Skillet!

My God! This was a lot of food!

It did come with salad and cornbread first....

The place was busy! And it was not all that bad as I thought it was gonna be. The food was good! Now, being from Eastern NC, I am picky about my BBQ....already chopped up and with the vinegar sauce already mixed in. MMMM. This type of BBQ was different for me and I liked it....it was pretty tasty. Jon loved it....

We ordered desserts....Lisa brought Jon a milkshake and we began looking at the dessert menu....

Here's what we got...

Smores Cheesecake! Yum!

And

Chocolate Cake that was okay...the cheesecake was better!

We paid for our meal with table service credits and right when we settled our bill, the asked everyone to stand and do the Hookey Pookey...on that note, we got up and left!

Dinner was good! Will we go there again? Maybe...there's a lot more to try out there though. I really recommed this place for families.....the kids will have a blast and adults will love watching everyone. As of right now, YSH has us won over for best food in Disney!

Okay...time for a break! I will be back to post more!

It's a Geco...(did I spell it right?) I got in college 1994. It's the only one I have. Jon has none....

Ordinarily that is true. I did have an updo from the mall once because my stylist was out of town and I COULD NOT do my own hair for the HRC gala. I went to Toni & Guy and the girl did an AWESOME job. It really was fabulous.

Before I logged on here this evening, I was reading my notes and getting ready to post this next part to the TR, and I told Jon, "Well, it's time to post that "part" of our trip." And we both started laughing.....this night was crazy, but we had the best time....so here is how the night went.....

Right after dinner at WCC, we went into the lobby and I told Jon that I would meet him back here...I knew where he wanted to go...and you can guess....

I went back to room to put my contact lenes back in, get charged batteries for the camera, and take a sinus pill. My head began to start feeling a little stopped up. After being in humid weather outside and coming in and out of ice cold inside room temperatures, I felt like I was getting one of those summer colds...it was no biggie, but I wanted to take something for it.....

I did. And took care of everything else and met up with Jon back at the pin cart...and he made a few new trades. At this point, our pin lanyards were in our pockets....we just took them out when we were ready to trade.

We took the boat ride back to the MK....and the crowds were still thick when we arrived here.....we just strolled around the castle. Other folks were waiting for the parade.

I couldn't get over how many people were all huddled around the castle for the parade. We were hoping that everyone was going to be heading out after the parade. EMH was till 2am this particular evening.....

And we posed....

We also started a photo pass just see what kind of shots they would get...

It was just getting crazy around the castle, people we just hearding in for the parade....

Here I am....I was feeling just so good....actually, I was really feeling good...I was chattin' with a photopass CM from Idaho...she was really cool to chat with....

It was time for another self shot...

We went into Fantasyland.....not too crowded in that area. I guess everyone was headin out for the parade. I told Jon that I wanted to go into the forest...

So we rode Snow White! Yay!

We were waiting in line at Snow White and I told Jon that I took 2 sinus pills...."You took 2?" Yes..I did take 2 and told him it was the Wal Mart brand that we packed. He said there were other things in that bottle of allergy pills...

"Like what?"

He told me that he got some Xanax for the plane ride to FL and for the plane ride back to NC. And basically told me that he had a little "nervous thing" for flying .....I knew he had a few issues with it back when we flew to NYC....I just looked at him and giggled and said, "Oh hunny, that's okay...." Come to find out later, I had taken one sinus pill and the other Jon's flying medication.

Our mining car came up and we hopped in....I had the camera on and I decided to take some fabulous pictures.....

Snow White is one of my favorite stories of all times....so I like this ride....

Now I know why it's a scary adventure....

I started freakin out a little bit b/c of the flash and I messed up the camera...LOL....just fabulous pictures.....I didn't want these to go to waste. I had worked to hard on them! LOL!

It was like Golden Storybook moment gone bad!

I have no idea where this was....LOL! Just a funny moment!

We got off the ride and Jon was laughing so hard at me. It was crazy!

In the meantime,We went and got a soda at Pecos Bills...I had a bad case of the dry mouth! LOL! We just kind of chilled at the restuarant and I was okay, just a little loopy...

Outside of Pecos Bills, we found a place to watch the parade. So we got to enjoy the wonderful.....

The Hunky CM that said for us to watch ourselves....

We really enjoyed Spectormagic! Very very Cool! I can't wait to see the parade for MSSHP!

After the parade, we walked over to Adventureland!!!!

We walked on Jungle Curise! It was dark so this was gonna be interesting. We had a great crew and really enjoyed it during the evening hours.....

We are ready for another 2 week tour.....

Ruben was our Skipper...he was really good and had fun with our group. He enjoys what he does....

So fun riding this at night! It was super cool!

Don't worry, they had their trunks on.....

Wishes was getting ready to happen...so we caught some of that....boy was it packed around the different areas for viewing Wishies...if you wanna really enjoy an attraction with no lines, go during a major park show....

After a fantastic Jungle Curise Ride and Wishies, we headed over to land of the future...

We rode Buzzlight Year again...Jon this time behave with the steering wheel thingie. After that, we just kind of walked around and waited for the crowds to get lower....everyone was heading out of the park....

We strolled over to Fantasyland again b/c I was craving Ice Cream....so we got Sundaes at Mrs. Potts Cupboard...

I got a Strawberry Shortcake .....

Jon got a Hot Fudge....sorry the pics are not that great....these sudas were good and hit the spot!

Jon felt lucky....

Nope, he didn't pull it out.....

**From this point, I stopped taking pictures and we went to ride HM, Splash Mtn, and BTMRR, we were really enjoying our night together in the MK, so I just putaway the camera****

Before we knew it, it was late. Were we ready to go? Nope. I asked Jon what he wanted to do before we headed back to the room and he wanted to ride this.....

There was hardly any wait at all...so we were wisked up in elevator to get on our rocket....Right before we got on the elevator, the CM member asked us how many in our party, we told him 2....so we thought we were going to be in a rocket together....LOL! Not!

We attempted. I got in the rocket car 1st and Jon attempted to after I got settled. I kept saying, "This ain't gonna work Jon..." But he was determine to be my copilot on this one....so he tries to sit down and I yell..."YOU ARE RIPPIN THE SKIN OF MY LEG HUNNY DARLING!!!!!!!!"

The CM comes rushing over and suggests that we wait for the next round....we did....and I took some pics while we waited...

It was finally our turn to fly into the dark FL night....

Cute, fun ride...but I got dizzy....

So we got on...

I was hoping to get some cute shots with the camera on this one.....then I get a bad car....

I was still wet from Splash Mountain....

So, we got the peddle to the mental.....then "BAMN" something happened to my car....

"Hunny....my steering just popped out!" I kept pushing the peddle and all I would get was BANG BANG BANG BANG....Jon just kept driving.....

It was just me and the Torrowland Freeway...

Finally, a CM (From Japan) and she says.."You get new car. Sorry this broken car." She was very kind and escorted me off the roadway....I was driving while under controlled substances....LOL! Im always the lucky one......

The crew was very nice and offered me another car to do the full lap and I passed, I had enough adventure for the day.

Jon and I just laughed and laughed the way out of Tomorrowland. It was getting late so we went to the Main St. Stores and did some shopping.

Then we headed out to the boat launch back to WL. We said our goodbyes to the MK and headed out.....

We got in line for the boat back to WL and met some new freinds....A couple from Tampa got in line with us and we started chatting. They were celebrating a 50th birthday too and it was great talking about their week. They were staying at WL too....

We get back home and it's late, it's 2am and we have to get up very early for the Magical Express in the morning.....I go the FD and the kind CM helped me get our boarding passes....I was already slipping into a depression....I needed another pill...LOL!!!!

I'm sorry, but that is pretty funny!

The Astro Orbiter is my nemesis. Easily the worst ride in any of the 4 parks. Truly. I hate that ride. DS LOVES that ride. I have decided that can be DH's problem. I am not going near that ride. The one time we rode it was PLENTY.

Jungle Cruise is cool at night. I still remember our very first skipper, Margo. She was so much fun!
