Mickey's Halloween Party 2012 -- Check In

We'll be there Oct 21-23. Only a few days to do a things in both parks. We've never been in October so I'm not familiar with the Halloween Party. Just only some of the stuff I've read about on here. I'll have to think about it. I am looking forward to all the decorations though.

So what is the short and sweet details? A party is sometimes on a Tuesday evening and only available to those that purchased tickets? What does that mean for the park and people that don't buy the party tickets? I doubt we'll have costumes, but some sort of Halloween spirit will be worn.:confused3

We'll be in the parks from Oct 18-21st, so which ever one falls in there....I'm assuming Friday the 19th. Now if only they would release the dates! Kids have costumes already - not sure about DH & I.

We may go... We'll be at the parks from Oct 1-4. Depends on whether or not our kids can manage the 2 hour time difference! (The party starts at 6 right? That's 8 for us, and their bedtime!)

you can get in earlier than that but the actual party doesnt usually start till 7 and I feel your pain...I just have to say though that if you dont think your kids will stay awake for it then I wouldnt waste my money...2 years ago we took my then 3yo grandson and he passed out in his costume when we were only at the California letters and stayed asleep the entire night...he didnt see anything or get to experience it at all and it made me sad and I had to buy him a ticket to sleep all night in the park?:rotfl:

last 2 years the parties have been on tuesdays or fridays during month of oct...they close off the park to people who dont have a hard ticket...you get a wristband and a bag to get candy at selected trick or treat stations in DL...they add additional props and decorations ie lights, fog, eerie music etc...they have a cavalcade and special fireworks...although they sell alot of tix, theres not a ton of people in line for rides so you get to ride more than a regular park day and you can come as an adult or child and dressup...i personally love it:love:...they are supposed to escort people that dont have a wristband out of the park but i have seen them stay but they cant ride rides or do character photo ops or get candy cause they dont have the bag:confused3

I'll be there October 9th-13th. I am planning on doing the MHP on the 12th. Hopefully!!! I just hope the prices aren't sky rocketed this year:eek:!

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Halloween time at Disneyland!!! :cloud9:

We are going from the 14th to the 20th!! I'm soooo excited! I had hoped when I clicked on this thread you guys were saying the tickets were for sale, so sad they aren't! My husband threw a cartoon/superhero party this year and so he is going as batman {holy cow he looks awesome!} and I'm going as jessica rabbit. We are doing the hollywood thing the 12-13 at the magic castle, and then headed to the Sheraton Park {the castle looking one} for teh rest of the time. Okay october hurry hurrry! October 6th I'm also headed to san jose to see madonna with some girl friends....I want october to get here

Checking in as a party hopeful!

We are going to be down for the first Friday Party and the Tuesday Party ( 26 Sept - 03 Oct )

The Friday party might be a little too busy for us and so we are hoping to catch the 02 October party and enjoy spending our last night in DL celebrating Halloween!

We will be there for a MHP. Our trip is the 5th through the 11th. Planning on the
9th for our party but, may end up doing Friday nights depending on how things are handled. We are planning on dressing up but, we have not decided on what since no one can agree. Middle dd and her friend want Alice in Wonderland. Hubby and oldest DD want Star Wars. I don't care and I am sure youngest DD would like princesses...lol. So that will be determined later.

we plan to go the 1st or 2nd of october :)

our plan right now is to go as pirates ;)

FUN!

We'll be there from the 21st-28th, but we for sure want to do the weeknight party, so that's probably Tuesday the 23rd. Our family will all be dressed in Alice in Wonderland costumes! :woohoo:

Going to be in the parks from Oct27-Nov3. We plan/hope to attend the Oct31st Halloween party. Everything is booked, the only reason why that would change is if we couldn't get tix for that day. There are 4 of us. DD (11) & DS (13) are dressing up for sure. DH usually does & I plan to as well but we'll see. No concrete ideas on costumes yet really.

We will be there Oct 16-21 and start our trip right with the party Tues the 16th:woohoo: Costumes still TBD.:upsidedow

Can't wait. We will probably be a party of 14 on October 19th. No costume decisions yet. Staying at DLH.
We have been to MNSSHP, Looking forward to seeing if the party is any different at DL.:flower3:

:laundy:

DH and I will be there from Oct 29th to Nov 3 and will be going to the Halloween Party on our anniversary, Halloween night itself. :)
