Love Jared's new haircut!
What a cool program for Justin to be in. I agree - looks good on the college apps! You're going to have a big year next year when he's applying and Jared starts middle school!!
I love Epcot - I used to not think much of FW, but I'm liking more of it now. Soarin is my favorite!
I think you and I would be doing the same things in DTD!! You mentioned most of my favorite places!
Did you see the picture of the mohawk on FB? It was awful, this is much better
I think the FUSE program is going to be good for Justin, just found out they are doing community work too, so it just keeps getting better!
Epcot has become my favorite park, I can spend hours just hanging around WS
Wow, that is so crazy that your kids already went back to school! Most schools around here don't start until after Labor Day (though we also end later...). In fact, the day you just posted plans for will be my 3rd day of school!
Great plans for the day! You should do Universe of Energy. I know a lot of people think it's boring but it's actually more entertaining with Ellen in it. LOL.
Love the Dooney and Bourke bags...so cute! I really like the Buttons one but the Minnie bows one is a little more subtle. Just get one of both.
haha
Yep we started back on the 16th, last day will be May 23rd.
We saw Ellen's Energy Adventure once several years ago. It's just one of those things we never make time for.
Wish I had the money to buy both bags! Don would have an absolute fit!
I feel your pain, Eric will be in 6th!
One of the other 6th grade Mom's said to me last night, 'you realize in just 3 years we will have high school freshmen' I don't want to think about it!
You should be proud!!! that is quite an accomplishment, he sounds like a wonderful young man.
Most of the time he is, but he has his moments where I want to strangle him too
I don't know if I will make it to DTD on our Oct trip but if I do, an ornament is in order for me as well. LOVE both bags. Clutches are hard, not only are they size challenged, they get awkward to carry unless it's just for a dinner.
It really is. It's fine for just dinner, but I tried carrying it in the park one evening and it was kind of a pain
Look how tall your boys have gotten! Practically young men now. Happy and sad at the same time.
Your plans are great. I hope you get a buzz from entering from the IG and spending the day at Epcot. I love the button design D&B. Hadn't realised they had come out - so thanks for sharing.
Yep, Justin is taller than both of us now and I'm sure it won't be long before Jared passes me!
I'm leaning towards the button design myself, love it!
Yay for another Disney trip!
Like you Michelle, I have also learned that it is far better to go "solo" than to drag a Disney resister along for each and every trip. Obviously the ideal would be to have a mutual love of a Disney vacation, but in our reality, a couple of solo trips, followed by a family trip every 2 yrs or so, works much better for everyone!
Looking forward to hearing all about your adventures this time!
Hiya Trish!!! I know you understand my pain. At least your resister enjoys the resorts enough to tolerate trips every few years. Mine has said he won't go back until he takes his grandchildren!
Jill is in your club, too. She loves, loves, loves that place! I like it. Very much. I like to eat there once a trip, but she would eat there three times a trip, I think.
Good luck to your boys as they start their school year! Our schools go K-4, then they go to middle school from 5-8. The next two years will be especially exciting for Justin in sports. He's at the top of the heap now, and I am sure he will end up with lots of honors for the hard work that has brought him to where he is now. He sounds a lot like Trent. People who didn't know Trent thought he was probably just a 'dumb jock', since he was so good in all sports and acted like such a goof, but in truth, he was an Honor Society student and was in top standing with his teachers as a leader for the school. It felt every bit as good seeing him help the faculty usher in new students at orientation as it did seeing him do well on the court and field.
I could easily eat at Earl's twice in one trip, but we just don't make it to DTD more than once.
Wow, 5th graders with 8th graders? That is a huge maturity difference! I hope they do a good job keeping them in separate parts of the school.
Justin lettered in basketball last year and I expect he will again this year. He will make varsity in baseball but I'm not sure if he will start or not. His class is really good in baseball and he will miss all of pre-season because of basketball. We'll see how it plays out.
Justin & Trent sound a lot alike. He is very confident and not easily embarrassed so he acts like a nut sometimes! I think alot of people unfairly place good athletes in the "dumb jock" category. I enjoy seeing those people proven wrong
