The one I love is $40, hate to spend it for no longer than the package last but haven't found anything I like as much.

I am in love with Guerlain's Terracotta Skin. It's $50. It's worth every penny though. Feels like silk going on.

Honestly, the drugstore brands that cost $10-15 are not all that cheap. You have to use 3-4x as much to cover your face. With Guerlain, I use a tiny drop no bigger than 1/2 a pea (if that) and it covers my face and neck completely. Lasts almost a year.

I've been a big fan of Bare Escentuals for 9 years. I'm a makeup junkie so I keep trying new "IT" products thinking it's gonna be a miracle but am always let down & go back to B. E. Everything else looks Snd feels like a mask to me.

I've used some of the more expensive ones and never loved any of them. Lately I have been using Sonia Kashuk foundation from Target and it looks good and lasst on my face all day long, which is nearly a miracle. Most foundations, even with primer, are gone by noon.

I am tempted to try the new Urban Decay Naked foundation.

I have used Elizabeth Arden Sponge-On Cream Make-up for years. It is $33 and lasts quite a long time.

I've used the bare minerals foundation and mineral veil for years now and can't imagine ever going back to a liquid foundation. It goes on so easily and covers great but you never feel like you have makeup on. Together I think they cost me around $45 or so but they last about 3 months.

I haven't, and I really like that the powder isn't creamy so I doubt that I will.

I agree with this poster and the others on Bare Escentuals. I wear it, my mom, sisters, and nieces all wear it. When my mom had chemo for breast cancer everything else bothered her skin, except BE.

Con: I spend too much money buying up BE items on QVC!

    L'Oreal mineral makeup.
Fast, and easy to apply. Around $12.
I did try Maybelline BB cream. $8.
Like it, but prefer the mineral.
Maybe, I'm wrong, but good makeup, doesn't have to cost alot.

MAC for sure. I use Studio Fix Fluid, but they have something different for every skin type. I also like MAC because they are professional makeup, but are pretty affordable.

GloMinerals matte (I have somewhat oily skin)

It can be found in a cosmetic surgeon's office, or on Ebay for a fraction of the price!

I generally use Bare Minerals or Everyday Minerals. I've tried to switch back to a liquid foundation because I have fairly dry skin but I end up looking awful for some reason. I am tempted to try something new though.

I used to use less expensive makeup when I was younger and my skin was pretty good, so it didn't really matter. I find that the older I get the better quality foundation I need to buy and store brands just don't cut it anymore.

I did try the new Bare Minerals READY! foundation that comes in a compact. It is very powdery and the color is much lighter than what comes in the vials even though they are the same color. The jury is still out on whether I'm sold on it or not.

I'm currently using Stila BB cream and it's really the most unusual foundation I've ever used. It goes on feeling like a moisturizer and makes my face look really shiny for about a minute. Afterwards, it dries to a nice matte finish and looks very sheer. It's a light coverage foundation which I found perfect for the summer. I prefer a fuller coverage foundation for the fall and winter so I might go back to Smashbox. I had been using this for a couple of years until I tried the BB cream. I like trying new foundations and will most likely try something new. But on the other hand Smashbox works really well for my skin type and looks like I'm not wearing a lot of makeup.

I use Naked and it is beyond fabulous! LOVE IT! I also love UD because it's cruelty free which is important to me as well.

Just switched to Origin's Plantscription Foundation ($32) for 'make up' days. Like it lots. On non workdays I use Origins Perfect World tinted moisturizers (also around $30) this is all I wear on those days as I hate make up and don't want to bother.

However even as I'm finishing up my covergirl trublend ( less than $10,also like this lots but have been making the switch to better formulas and more anti aging products) I have figured out that foundation primer is your friend. No matter which one I use they go on so much better and cover with less cakeing or filling in of fine lines with a primer beneath them.

I've been using the Ulta brand which is not outrageous ($12) but really want to try the smash box brand ($30:scared1:).

Since I've decided to spend more on the foundation I'll probably stick with the cheaper primer.

Another vote for Mac. I love their foundations and it's the only thing that really agrees with my skin (the oil free version) oddly enough. I feel for me, B.E. doesn't give me enough coverage, even though I don't really have much to "hide" I just like looking made-up. :)
