Its my birthday and Ill Wine if I want to.
Chapter 1: Rites of passage or Sometimes getting old has its benefits.
I love my family
I love Disney
I first discovered the Epcot Food and Wine festival 4 years ago and in realizing that,
a) I love Disney in general and Epcot in particular
b) I love food
c) I love wine (are we recognizing a trend here?) and
d) My birthday is in October, during the Food and Wine festival
I knew that somehow I must spend my Birthday at Epcot. But FLASH 3 years go by, 2 years in which I actually have a Disney Seasonal Pass and I do live in central Florida, yet I am unable to achieve my goal. I love my family, and for the past 3 years I have had family commitments that interfered with my dream.
This year however, I am turning 50 and I am determined, Its my birthday and Ill Wine if I want to!!!
My baby sister (Hi sue_88) made me a Dis-er. Over the past 20 plus years that I have lived in central Florida the majority of my Disney visits have been with her and/or my DD. DH has never been one to show much interest in the parks. This year I was determined to drag DH along for the Big Birthday eating and drinking extravaganza.
How could he turn down all the food?
How could he turn down all that WINE?
How could he say no to a season pass to 4 parks with awesome rides like RRC, ToT and Everest?
How could he say no to his darling bride on her 50th Birthday?
How could he say no to 4 days at Disneys Beach Club Resort???
The answer is .. HE COULDNT, NO WAY, NO HOW, the package deal was just too grand. (and thus, the secret mission to live my dream while simultaneously turning DH into a Disney Lover like me is born) Will I succeed? We shall see.
