OK, so I am a freak for old sewing machines. And I saw one in the Der Teddy Bear store there. DD was coloring a Perry on a Stick,

So while DS and I waited, I checked out the machine.

These are often displayed incorrectly. This is the BACK of the machine. The base was glued to the counter.

Anyway, obviously, this is a German Machine. These were made in the early 1900’s. I would place this one pre-1920. It still worked and if you would have threaded it up right then and there, you could have sewed something. The hand crank was blocked with a small screw, but the needle bar moved freely. It was a lovely machine.

I may have an unhealthy addition to old sewing machines and I have quite a few ranging from 1908 to 1961. And I have a modern one as well. I love my vintage ladies though. So much fun to tinker and sew with.

More photos of the shop while waited for DD to color. DH was in the LONG line to get beer outside.

I just love Epcot, mainly World Showcase. Your photos of the flowers are just breathtaking!

I have never tried the Grey Goose Slushie. My favorite is the Margarita in Italy, but I've got to give the Slushie a try next time.

I've always heard the crowds are bad during Spring break, but they don't look terrible from your photos. Were the waits awful without FP?

Thanks. They are so beautiful. I love that time of year there.

So Yum. You need to try one!!

I tried not to take too many crowd photos. But it was bad. Like a wall of people at times. We knew it would be that way, so we dealt with it and just headed back tot he room when we had had enough. It was LOTS easier without the scooter this time for sure.

Where in France did you get the Grey Goose slushie?

The pink one is from the Flower and Garden booth that is only up during the Flower and Garden festival. But they have a lemon one and an orange one that they serve year round from a booth on the water side of the pavilion across from Chefs de France. I love the lemon one, too. The pink is may favorite though.

Hi! Just found your report and I enjoyed reading through it. We went a little after you and it's interesting to see everything I missed.

I love the bags you made, very cool.

I can't believe you had to deal with your issue for 2 hours! I'm glad they gave you FP but I don't know if you could get all that time back. :sad2:

I'm enjoying all your food pics, makes me wish we'd tried some more places.

Nice pic of Divine, we missed her.

I tried to take pics of all the topiaries, it looks like I missed Peter Pan. Oh, well. :)

Those sandals are sooo cute!!! Love the food pics too...the ginger chocolate cake sounded good in theory...too bad it was weird...

Following along! What a wonderful trip report..your EPCOT F&G pics are amazing! Really makes me want to be there...but your pics make it look like I am! Nice job :)

Our favorite ride in EPCOT is the Gran Fiesta tour...I grew up watching The Three Caballeros so it brings back lots of great childhood memories. The movie where Walt goes to South America (Walt & El Grupo...I think that's the title) is such a wonderful documentary about Disney animation and the films inspired by the trip (Caballeros and Saludos Amigos)...now I have to watch it again! Anyways...looks like you all are having a nice relaxing trip...how is the FP+ working out for you in Epcot? Are you trying for a fourth FP+?

Following along- just caught up! Lovin' all the food porn! :thumbsup2 Love the bags that you made- great job! Can't wait to hear about the rest of your trip!

Really enjoying your trip report & those bags you made are beautiful, love them!!

That is what keeps us going back. To do the things we missed. I still haven't done everything.

I love the bags you made, very cool.

Thanks!! It helps earn me some extra Disney money.

Oh, it was longer than 2 hours. Over the course of several days. And I took a week after we got back to get it all straight. At least I think it is.

I'm enjoying all your food pics, makes me wish we'd tried some more places.

I love seeing other people's food pics, so I make sure and get as much as I can to share.

Nice pic of Divine, we missed her.

She is so beautiful. I love watching her.

He was hiding up on top of the building.

I HAD to buy those sandals. The cake was OK. I don't think I would get it again though. But I would definitely eat there again. The rest of the food was great.

Hey thanks for stopping in to say hello!! I need to post another update soon!!

Thanks for following!! I have a good camera. Photography is not my strongest talent.

The FP+ worked well for the rest of the trip. We never tried for a 4th one. Three was enough and then we just rode other things that we didn't have to wait too long for. In the future, though, I would love to have a 4th option. And they can ditch the stupid tier system. Yes, that documentary was a good one. We had a great trip as always. I'm ready to go back!!!

Really enjoying your trip report & those bags you made are beautiful, love them!!

Thanks!! I have a little sewing business making things to support my expensive Disney habit. My facebook page is The Busy Thimble if you want to take a look :-) They are fun to make. So many cute fabrics our there!!

Those sandals are so cute! We like Teppan Edo. Glad you enjoyed it.

They really are cute!! I HAD to have them. Got a passholder discount with isn't much, but it helped. We are definitely going to eat there again.

Great resort pics!! I'm glad you shared because this is one that I might not get to if not staying there...though would be nice to try staying in each one someday...but who has the time? I do like that spanish moss though!

Nice photos of the resort. I like the splash area near the pool. Hope your ankle felt better. :)
