I'm really excited about the proposed meet! The only thing I'm worried about is there are a lot of Ocean Spring-ers here. I taught one year @ OSHS so I hope I didn't teach any of you or your kids. (I was an awful teacher).

With so many going to WDW soon---or planning to soon---I really need to explain how to rent DVC point to y'all. You get more room for your buck.

Hi, tim! Just wanted to say I'm excited you know about renting points. We are a family of 5 and have often thought about this for future trips.

ToddyLu, fixing to go view Pm. McAllisters also has a private room we might be able to use if needed.

I don't think I'll be able to make it to a meet, myself. I doubt my husband would go with me, and I'm not too keen on driving down by myself. Sorry if I sound like a wuss. haha

This really sounds like a lot of fun. I am not sure that I will be able to make it. I have a lot going on right now, between classes, moving, and my own trip, I think I will have to pass. But, it sure would have been fun.

Hi all! We are another MS family. We live in Moss Point area.....we are in East Central School District.....anybody hate East Central Schools like me? Just wondering......not trying to stir up anything just wondering.....anyway we would love to come to any meet ups with locals!

My brother and his family live in Three Rivers, we love East Central since it is better than Moss Point. Heeheehee. My parents live in Moss Point so I feel I can say that. Work has been crazy for me lately and I was wondering if I still needed to organize a Dis Meet--I guess I was feeling sorry for myself or something so I am glad I checked in with you guys today. Every couple of days I will post here just to keep everyone in the loop.

We have a Gulf Coast Dis Meet September 27th at (put a time you want here and we will say majority rules) at Mc Allister's on Hwy 90 in Ocean Springs. Hopefully we will stay on topic and it should not last more than an hour. I am hoping to have lime green Mickey heads to give everyone. Maybe I can come up with other things too.

Any way I am looking for good times of day, I do not have children so my days are mostly free if I need to do something--I know with school starting there may be sports that occur on Saturdays. Just let me know what you guys think..

I would not be opposed to driving to H'burg on a Saturday for a meeting if others up there are interested. Look forward to meeting everyone.

Well I will definitely send you guys the "minutes from our meeting" and if all goes well, maybe others would be willing to drive up if someone in that neck of the woods could help set it up. Then we may have a few more people join. We could always have the Gulf Coast DIS meet 2012 in one of the casinos and gain national attention........OK that my be a bit much, but I can still dream.

I live in Picayune so I can go either way. Hattiesburg might actually be a little closer. Keep me posted. I am really interested and willing to drive either way. Just need to know approximately where on Hwy 90 is MacAllister's. Or can I not miss it? don't get to Ocean Springs much anymore.
