Hi guys,
I'm doing a timed 10K Turkey Trot and I'm wondering how much time I'd need to drop to move up a carrel for the half at marathon weekend. I know this isn't a question anyone can definitively answer, but firsthand anecdotes, educated speculation or crazy guesses will be gratefully received!
In case you'd like more intel to work with: I'm working off a proof of time that was recorded when I very first started running last June. It's slow (a wee bit over a 11 1/2 minute pace), and I'm still slow. I do train regularly and I've lost about 40 libs since then. So I'm wondering if there's any chance of moving up. And, if so, what I'd need to do so?
Guesses? Anyone?
Thanks!
