HOW MUCH IS YOUR 2017 DISNEY VACATION GOING TO COST

February 6-9
2 adults, three Disney adults, and 1 infant
CBR - Florida Resident $561.00
Florida resident 4 day park hopper for 5 over age 10 - $1,136.90
Factoring in $800 for food and $500 for extras.

$2998 in total... It's too early to figure out per person per day, but I think I'm being generous with food, so I'm hoping to definitely stay under that $3000 mark!

2 adults. April 4-11. All Star Music. 5 Day Ticket. $1990. Already booked my flight on Frontier, flying out of Cleveland. 2 round trip tickets were $304.00. No dining this time. Paying out of pocket.

9 nights/10 days for 4 adults/1child per WDW rules

POR 5 nights $1856 ($1485 if discounted 20%)
YCCL 4 nights $2500 ($1750 if discounted 30%)
The above are not booked and we're hoping for RO discounts, though the indicated discounts seem like a pipe dream of late!
Food at parks/resorts OOP $1800
Food for trip and in room $300
5-day PH tickets from UT $1814

total $8270 at 165.4/person/day before discounts and tax, $7149 at 142.98/person/day if rooms discounted as above

We're driving and will have hotel/fuel charges there and back at around $500.

LOL....I kinda feel/felt the same way too...except our disney vacation isn't costing quite that much. We have been saving up for about a year and paid for the tickets/resort/airfare all in advanced....what's "stinging" right now (we are in Disney now )...is the food we are paying OOP....but hey...we don't do it often. Just enjoy it and feel relieved you are paying it bit by bit....;)

Exactly, we just got back and for 14 days paid ALL our food for 5 'adults' OOP and that's what made us make up our mind about wanting the dining plan! LOL! We pay it off in big chunks and then it's over and done with. We are a year away and paid off, so we just keep socking money away monthly so that we can do the same when we book again! LOL

Fun thread!
2 adults - DH and myself
8 days, 7 night split stay Beach Club 6 nights/Poly 1 night
Lodging: $1674
Tickets: I already have an AP so just 1 adult 7-day park hopper for $394. Jumped on that 7 days for the price of 4 deal earlier this year!
Meals and Snacks: $1300
Gas roundtrip (SC - FL): $100
Total: $3468 which works out to $216.75 per person per day.
Bonus: My work occasionally gives out rewards that can be redeemed for gift cards. I have about $500 in Disney gift cards to spend on extras when we get there :cool1:

We gave up the free dining and too club level instead. I am saving Disney gift cards little by little to use for food, like character meals and restaurants we want to do. I am shooting for 1000. I have 350 so far and we go end of June. I am tryouts no to take some of the sting away.

$3,970
10 days/ 9 nights at Beach Club standard room for 2 adults 2 kids.
8 day park hopper with bonus one day water park ticket.

This is our first time not doing the dining plan. We're planning on mostly quick serve with a couple sit down dinners. Planning about $1200 for food. Flights will be covered by points.

We just booked our January 2017 trip.

Jan. 15-22, 2 Adults, 7 nights/8 Days
Wilderness Lodge Club Level (with AP Discount and Gift Cards purchased at a Discount) - $3078.25
Annual Pass - Paid for on Previous Trip
Tables in Wonderland Card - Paid for on Previous Trip
1 4 Park Hopper Plus 3 Extra Days aka a 7 Day Park Hopper (Undercover Tourist discount plus $20 AmEx Statement Credit for UT) - $399.00
1 Plane Ticket - Paid with AmEx Points
1 Plane Ticket (Paid with Airline Miles) - $11.20 (taxes/fees)
2 Club Villain Tickets (with AP Discount) - $198.00
Food Budget (based on cost of 2017 dining plan) - $1000
Souvenir Budget - $300

Total: $4986.45 or $311.65/per person per day.

I expect that we won't use all the food or souvenir budget. I will likely be purchasing discounted Disney Gift Cards for the food and souvenir budget as well.

We currently have three trips (out of four) planned for next year...
Annual Passes purchased with discount are allocated at 25% to each trip

Easter 2017 Trip ($3058)
Annual Passes - $359
4 nights at BCV (rental) - $1696
Airfare - $703
Food Estimate - $300

Summer 2017 Trip ($2009)
Annual Passes - $359
4 nights at AKL Savanna View (rental) - $910
Airfare - $440
Food Estimate - $300

Fall 2017 Trip ($1942)

4 nights at BWV (rental) - $644

Food Estimate - $300

I'm also budgeting $2171 for our Easter 2018 trip to round out the annual passes - staying at a Value at this point to save some money.

Total: $9180 or $230 per person per day

I have an Aug 11-19, 2017 trip booked.
2 adults, 2 disney adults and 1 child
8 nights at POR with free dining bounceback and 6 day park hoppers
$4300
When the room discounts come out, i'll see if that will work out better but for us, but free dining is usually a bit better. And DH and the kids loved it last time we had it.
We'll probably drive, which i'd guessimate will add another $500, I have a good amount of disney visa rewards and disney giftcards from swagbucks to hopefully pay for the tips and other OOP costs.
Can't wait, but seems so far away!

Also the policy mentions intentionally trying to bypass the filter and mention travel agency names. I'm not sure how they can tell someone's "intent" in a post...

I think "intent" is when someone purposefully changes the name or uses spaces or some other device so the automatic filters can't pick it up.

So if someone writes www(dot)bisinessname(dot)com, it won't be read as a valid URL by the automatic filters, but to anyone else reading it they would understand where to go. And by adding the (dot), or hyphens, or any other text device, the poster would obv intending to pull one over on the filters.

sorry..back to the discussion.

I absolutely forgot that we are doing MVMCP for 5 people, so that will add another 500.00 and we are looking to book the Highway In The Sky Dine Around and that's 150.00 per person....so it just went higher! LOL

Just went online to pull up my actual numbers so I am editing to add those in!

I don't like seeing these numbers! LOL!

We are 10 days at the Contemporary Atrium Club Level. (Theme Park View)
10 day park hoppers
Deluxe Dining Plan
Memory Maker Package
Followed by a 3 night cruise on the Disney Magic at concierge level...

Family of 5 all Disney 'adults' and we are paying over 15,000.

Exact total is 16,280.
+ MVMCP 500.00
+ Highway In the Sky Dine-Around 300.00
+ Family Magic Tour 200.00
Total is $17,280.00 :earsboy:

Editing in the per person cost:
14 days comes out to 3256.00 per person which is not too bad and then factor the per day cost and it's a bargain at 233.00 per person per day...so this makes it a lot easier to swallow! LOL

We got free dining and a healthy cruise discount due to problems on a previous cruise and the Memory Maker is free as well.
