How much is your 2016 Disney vacation going to cost you?

10 nights in August at CBR, 5 Disney adults, free dining and 2 day park hopper tix (we have APs) $3,490 (and five 2 day PH tickets to use in the future). We're driving our van down and back, so about $250-$300 for gas.

Mid Aug trip-Mom+2 teens (Dad has no vacation time left, so one last hurrah for us before school starts) and also stopping to see Grandma for 2 nights on the way.
drive from DC to WDW $100gas + 1 night hotel $100
5 nights POP w/early fall rate $553
1 night AKV using 15 points-$80 annual fees
2 days leftover tickets (paid $50 per day)
$300 for food, using fridge for sandwiches, breakfast, etc.
Autotrain home-$550
So, about $1500 out of pocket--Mom and 2 teens seeing Grandma and bonding for the week--priceless (sorry Dad).

Well, I am paying more than I want. I was waiting for fares to come out, and next thing I knew, all the flights were booked. I believe I paid $340 r/t thru Atlanta. More than I wanted to pay, and one more stop than I wanted ;) C'est la vie.

Thanks for the reply! :thanks:

Don't know what days you are flying but if you Fly on Sundays you can get RT around $130 on Frontier RDU-MCO.

Unfortunately we are Thursday - Wednesday. But, thanks anyway! Would love to be able to get that rate!

What rates are you finding for RDU? I can't get much below $1000 for 4 RT tickets, and am wondering if this is the best it's gonna get.
It's only me flying from Raleigh and so far it's $240 round trip.

Last November went with all my kids and their spouses - total of 10 people for 8 days. We had the dining plan and POFQ rooms, 7 day park tickets and with airfare it was about $22,000. I paid about a third of that, the working adults paid their own way. Great holiday, Christmas decor out and we saw the Osborne Family Lights in their last year, but wow. Expensive. The "kids" are 21-32 so no cheap food. We had 3 rooms. Extras were kept to a minimum but I think each room spent another couple of thousand in drinks, tips and shopping. When you convert it to Canadian dollars it's a down payment on a condo!

This summer it will be just DH and one DD, the WDW nut who has worked there in the past and reapplied to the Canada Pavilion this year. 1 room at CS club level, got park hopper tickets for 6 days of the 7 we will be there, in case of free dining. Free DD did happen (we are there Sept4-11) so that saves us something. Room & tickets & dining total $3466.05 plus airfare will be about $600-700 Canadian each. Add on another $2000 for drinks, tips, shopping and so on. Alice will pay her whack so I guess I will be out about C$5000.

Then I lost my mind and booked DD and I in for the Food and Wine 10K in November so that's another $2373 plus airfare and food. Disney addiction is definitely postponing my retirement, lol.

It's just going to be me and my best friend from July 12 to the 17 we have 6 day park hoppers with the dining plan and we are staying in a garden view room! Total for this is 2229. We are also spending a day at universal and staying with her aunt! An adult only trip! We are also driving so another 200 or so for food and gas on the way down. Planning on packing snacks for the car!

hi, i was just looking at pop for around that time. how did you get 30% discount? i thought the values were 15 or 20%? i am out of practice at this so appreciate any input. thanks : )

My trip, which was totally a last minute decision yesterday goes as follows:
3 Nights- Dec. 23rd-Dec. 26th for 1
Port Orleans French Quarter Garden View
Dining PLan
3 day ticket (no hopper)- total for package- 1415.00

$$ for a souvenir and some OOP food (May do a signature dining experience while there so that would leave me with one meal OOP). --500 to 600 (have about 200 in gift cards right now and plan to have that entire amount by then).

Driving down from Kentucky so about 250 or so for gas and food both ways. I will drive straight through like I always do.

Actually going on a cruise before my Disney Visit. But I am not calculating that in since it is not a Disney Cruise.
