How much is your 2013 WDW vacation going to cost you?

This is for my husband and myself who have not been to Disney World in 10 years. We are celebrating 28 years of marriage.

We originally booked POFQ then changed to WL then to POR and now we are finally at Coronado Springs.

Coronado Springs business class for 12 nights with regular dining plan and park hopper tickets = $5800

Round trip non-stop airfare on Southwest = $630

Two tickets to DVMCP = $157

Gift cards that I have been collecting for our oop expenses so far = $775

So far = $7500 without

Transportation to and from the airport
Tips for Mousekeeping etc
Rental Car
Tickets for La Nouba
Tickets for Behind the Magic
Pet Boarding

Will end up spending about $10K

Update again! We found a great deal on roundtrip, nonstop airfare on Southwest so we are flying instead of making the 9-10 hour drive each way. I had to move our trip forward by one day in order to get the good rate on the airfare and because we are checking in on a Saturday instead of a Sunday, our package rate increased by $16. So now for two adults and one child, we are paying $2016 for our 5 night, 6 day stay at POR in a royal room with 5 day MYW tickets and free dining, before applying the 5% discount we will receive by paying with gift cards purchased with our red card, plus $414 in airfare for all 3 of us instead of the $175-200 we had estimated for gas to drive down. We think it's worth the extra $200 or so to fly and save ourselves from all those hours in the car.

Dates of travel: September 28th to October 15th
Resort: Pop Century & Animal Kingdom Lodge
Room type: Standard & Deluxe Villa
Our group: Just me
Tickets: Already have Premiere Annual Pass(phew)
Dining plan: Disney Quick Service dining plan (2 cs, 1 snack per day plus a mug)
Trip insurance: Yes
Special Offers: None

Flights: $2400(hopefully no more)

Total: $5620

So my trip is purely because i bought the annual pass last year for the discounts, worked out about 120 bucks more than our tickets for WDW and DLR, but with all the savings, made the money back.

Hoping i can score free dining before i get there, but doubtful. Guess we shall see

I've done this before but have made changes:

4 weeks 9/27 - 10/25 for two of us. Most of the quotes are through the military so no taxes.....

2 BR Condo 4 weeks @ $300/week = $1,200
Airfare = $0
Car for 1 month = $650
MNSSHP @ $42 each = $84
Universal 3 day Tickets @ $128 each = $256
Disney Tickets - already have APs = $0

Total Cost for 4 weeks = $2,190 or about $550/week

We will eat some meals in the condo, including most breakfasts, most others will be offsite and a lot at F&W - can't really estimate that cost but mostly it will be about what we would normally spend at home on meals.

This trip is just DH and me.

5 nights standard view POP
6 base tickets
free QSDP

$1254
Wild Africa Trek, with discount, $310

roundtrip airfare from Detroit, used points $0.00
seat selection and 911 fee for airline $40

Total cost, $1604

Of course that doesn't include any extras, which of course will happen, but it will be minimal.
