Sorry title is a bit odd!
We had a bad experience with US Airways in August, so I wrote and complained, and they have written back and offered us $150 each compensation towards another flight (can't be used online)
Anyway, I don't wish to appear ungrateful, but I'm not sure how it works with us being in the UK, and flying out to the US. I have looked at some flights, (they don't seem to have anything for the time we would be looking at next year (aug/sept) available yet); but looked at flights around the easter hols to NY, and they are coming up as indirect and up the 18hrs!
Does anyone know if this is because we would be flying the wrong way?
Do you think that as we booked through USAirways.co.uk, I could ask them to compensate us in sterling, or is that too cheeky?
Thanks,
Jules x
