GKTW Event: NJ DIS Meet Weekend, 2015 - April 24-26! RAISED $14,658.30!!!!!

Was wondering if you would all like if I brought my collection of about 18 Disney shopping bags to make it easier for taking all the goodies home?

Got back for the NJ DIS Meet 2015 Main Event.................my wife and I had a WONDERFUL TIME!!! Its was a great event...........100+ like minded folks talking, laughing, and living DISNEY! Doesn't get any better. Had an opportunity to speak with each of the podcast members........as always so nice to speak with. First time speaking with JenniLynn and found her to be quite engaging............like me she's into wrestling so we had something other than Disney to talk about. Teresa cried......because Teresa's a cry'er...........Kathy waxed poetic about Disney............because that's Kathy...............Pete told us to 'stay out of the damn lakes'.......because Pete always tells us that.............Dustin ran the show........because Dustin runs the show.........and Craig........Craig wasn't grumpy cat...........which was pretty cool......had a great talk with Craig........hopefully gave him an idea for his weddingbands (ring, not music) The podcast was a bunch of fun.......won't spoil it but tune in on Tuesday (Show 2).

I was fortunate enough to win some Disney kitchen stuff and a couple of books about Walt Disney and Marty Sklar . The final GKTW numbers will be given by Nikkie but I think its gonna be a good amount. I'll leave to her to give the final number. Speaking of............Can't give enough props to Nikki. She and her team were again............AWESOME!

Best part of the trip is that while Pete was discussing Disapalooza for this December, my wife leaned over and suggested we attend ...........a WDW visit was initially NOT in the cards for 2015 but it is now!!!!!!!!!!

What a fabulous weekend at this year's ‪#NJ DIS MEET‬ for Give Kids the World!

I can't express my gratitude enough to all who attended and those who supported us even though they could not attend including Sara, Bonnie, Dave, Debbi, Holly & Mike, Tom, and Aaron.

Many thanks to those who donated to our silent and raffle auctions including Douglas & his wife, Tom, Lucy & Neal, Nancy, Steven, Tyler, Tracy, Meredith, Kevin-john, John, Tara L., Lois & Greg, and NE DISmeet & DIS Harrisburg/Hershey GKTW Meet as well as Lori for her school fundraiser towards our cause and Eileen for selling key fobs in our mall!!

BIG kudos to Scott for his very generous donation/match for our meatball eating contest as well!

I also would like to give a special THANK YOU to our friends who rolled up their sleeves and helped make our events so wonderful especially Sam, Alexandra, Juliet, Tara, Kristin, Jim & Jayme, Ian & Kim, and Jennifer & Glenn!
