GKTW Event: 4th annual NE Dis Meet to benifit GKTW - Oct 3-5, 2014

I'm just going to start making up rumors for the event

(Note. They "might" not be true)

Rumor 1: Safetymom will auction off riding Rock n Rollercoaster with her

Would that go for more or less than her on ToT?

Looking forward to attending my first meet with my sister. She has tried to get me to go the past two years but I was unable to. This year it is nearly in my back yard. Can't wait to hear what some of the events will be. Looking forward to meeting everyone.

Rumor #2
Sha Un and Grumpy Cat will host a private screening on a 12" black and white TV of the film Malificent

Rumor #3
John and Kevin will review the dining aboard the Mayflower II docked in Plymouth Harbor. The food consists of rotten hardtack and salted fish

They find it more enjoyable than the Coral Reef

Not at all far fetched. :cool1:

BTW, for people looking for places to eat in Plymouth and on the Cape, I've done some reviews for FoodieTales that you might be interested in. Just click on the link and browse around.

Just got an email from Southwest about a "FALL SALE".

You have to book by today, but I got a great deal.

Orlando to Providence for $99 each way.

New England here we come!!:banana::banana::banana:

Just had a really strange experience; booking flights to PVD so we could be in Plymouth (where we just moved out of a few months ago) in order to attend this meet.

Looking forward to seeing everybody there!

Rumor #4
Pete gets named new ruler of the Renaissance Fair in Carver
To be named King Pete's Faire

Tributes will be given

As long as everything works out tickets for the NE meet will be on sale Monday at noon. More to come!!

I am booked for myself. Trying to get the while family booked for the weekend Great job setting this up Divas!!!

Hi all! Hoping to make it out to at least part of the weekend's events. I will be a first -timer and am excited about the prospect of meeting some fellow DISers! I do have a question about the child-friendliness of these events. We have twins who in October will be 12 months old... We were hoping to at least make it to Sunday brunch/podcast recording but also were interested in Friday night's dinner... What's the generally accepted rule about having small children at these events? Thanks in advance!

Little ones are more than welcome. We are thinking about offering some sort of Babysitting in one of the hotel rooms if that is something you are interested it. Either way, There will be things for them to do and other little ones there!! Please join us!!

We weren't planning on going to this one, but after the fantastic time we had in Hershey, we really want to try to swing it!

I know it says we can only pick one event to go to on Saturday, but we are very torn between the Ren Faire and the historic walking tour. As long as we are back at the hotel by 1:30 for the pm walking tour, would we be able to do that as well as long as we pay for both events?
