Fit in February Exercise Challenge!

Sorry I was missing the last week of the month. I did run the Glass Slipper Challenge. The 10k had wonderful weather. I even ran a PR. The half was warmer but still better than last year. I've run a little behind on my minutes after returning then had a conference this weekend. I really don't know how those of you living in frozen places do it. I'm so ready for moderate temps again.

I fell a little short on my goal. When I added up my numbers I finished 1100/1200. Thanks for hosting.
 
I'm back! What a week it has been! We had the lowest temperatures in 30 years for our run. Overnight lows were -5 to -10 with wind chills approaching -30. Brr! :cold:

Thursday, 2/19: 25 minutes running
Friday, 2/20: 30 + 25 + 10 + 10 = 75 minutes running (4 legs total over 14 hour or so)
Saturday, 2/21: 20 minutes walking
Tuesday, 2/24: 40 minutes running

Total here of 160 minutes, brings my February total up to 737/1000

So, I didn't make my goal :sad1: BUT - the experience of my run was amazing, incredible, and I made some friends for life! Now...when I can sign up for a Disney race??

Tomorrow! Wine & dine half opens at noon for AP holders. :)

Oh last year's princess half was terrible. Running through the mist because it was literally 100% humidity. ugh. Glad this year was better!

The February thread is officially updated! I can still update it if there are people who didn't report in minutes from last week yet. I know how life gets. But right now, if this is it - we finished at 81% of goal as a team. I think that's OUTSTANDING. Go WISHers!!!

Another 90 minutes run/walk which brings me to 870/840 and I still have a 6.5 mile run on Saturday on tap. :hippie:

I completed a 5k on Saturday. It was not pretty but I'm glad I did it. I'm so sore today but drinking lots of water and taking ibuprofen.

I know the challenge is over but I'm going to update my tally for February - I was out of town and had my daughter's 4th birthday party so I haven't been able to update!

Also as a side note, since I've started my eating plan and working out I've lost 6 inches and 10 lbs. It will be slow going but that is encouraging!
