I would love to get a survey, of sorts, for the FAVORITE/BEST quick service meals/snacks/drinks that the World Showcase has to offer.
(I'm sure this has probably been asked and answered, but I stink at using the search effectively...)

So, could you please list your favorite food and drinks items from each area of the World Showcase (counter service only) and where to find them! If I get enough answers, I'll try to compile a list of sorts in this first post. Hopefully this will help out future posters as well! (The suggestions are listed by location. The numbers in front of them will refer to the number of people who chose that item as a favorite.) List as many items as you like! Thanks!! :thumbsup2

DH is looking forward to trying out some of the different items as we make our way around the WS and I want to make sure we choose wisely. :rotfl:

Thanks!!

One of my very favorites is the vegetable puff pastry from Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe in Norway. For something sweet I Iove the Chocolate Eclair from the bakery in France, Boulangerie Patisserie!

I haven't eaten at all the QS restaurants in WS, but my favorite is the ham and cheese sandwich from Boulangerie Patisserie, followed up with the chocolate mousse. It's the only thing I have to have when I'm there.

Mexico-La Cantina: beef tacos and churros (the beef is shredded and really flavorful; the portion is generous as well)

Norway: schoolbread

China (Lotus Blossum cafe): Orange chicken meal

Thanks for the replies!

Hope we get some more.... (hint, hint...)

We enjoyed the Mousse in France on our last trip also, so I'm going to add to that vote.

In Morocco, to the side of the QS area is a dessert counter. They have 3 kinds of Baklava -- walnut, pistachio and cashew. They also make a moorish espresso that I enjoy because it was so different from the same-old you can get most anywhere. Also very nice is the mint tea, which is served hot or cold. I love it cold.

UK - fish and chips! And the fake Beatles band is great to watch while enjoying them.

Norway - schoolbread, they also have sandwiches that are quite good.

Italy - coffeeeeeeeee

France has the crepes with chocolate

Where are those fabulous slushy drinks? Italy or France?

And the bakery in france is great too.

NORWAY:
(1) SchoolBread (anyone know where you find this one??)

You can get this at the Kringla, along with lots of other yummy items.

My favorites (in no particular order).
Norway: Waffle, Cloudberry Horn, Schoolbread (Kringla)
China: Ginger Caramel Ice Cream (Lotus Blossom Cafe)
Germany: Pretzel (Sommerfest)
France: Eclair (Patisserie)

France - Ham and Cheese on the baguette, creme brulee,
Norway - Open faced salmon and egg sandwich, rice cream
Morocco - Schwarma Platter w/ chicken gyro, cous-cous, hummus & pita
Italy - ciabatta sandwich, ham, salami, cheese & an Italian margarita made w/ grappa and lemoncello liquor
England - The fish & chips from the stand (?)m tastes better than it smells! Love it w/ malt vinegar!
Mexico - Beef taquitos & churros w/ caramel sauce!
China - Pot stickers and pork egg rolls (these are surprisingly tasty)

Not a fan of Japan QS nor American!

MY LOVES:

England- Fish and Chips
Germany- Brattwurst and apple strudel
Mexico- Lime Margarita
Morroco-lamb wrap
France- Napoleon

I am getting hungry thinking about it! YUMMMMM.... can't wait to have some!

France: Napoleon, Creme Brulee Boulangerie
UK: Fish & Chips Yorkshire County Fish
Germany: Brat Sommerfest
Norway: Ham and Apple sandwich Kringla

All that goes out the window with F&W festival.

I'll stick to snacks and leave out meals... Last time I was in Epcot (in May) the tea stand in China had really good snacks -- egg rolls and pork buns, I believe.

Fish and chips and go watch "British revolution" perform.

Margaritas in Mexico

Grand marnier slush and grey goose slush at France.

My fave thing in all of WS is the lemon tart in France. OMG, I cannot go to Epcot without getting one of those things! So delish!!!! But their ham & cheese croissant is a close second.

I liked the apple, ham and cheese sandwich at Norway, and it was huge - big enough to share.

I also enjoyed the fish and chip at UK.

Thanks so much for all the responses. I'll try to update the first post with some tallies of the favorites. Feel free to add more if you think of them!
Grrr. Just tried to update the first post and I overstayed my welcome, had to log in again, and lost everything. I'll try to update again letter.
I'm also going to add a vote to the Creme Brulee at the Bakery in France. I forgot that one, I have no idea how. It was fabulous.
