I'm not paying thousands of dollars for a trip to WDW to be told I can only ride a certain ride once. Forget about it.
If I want to get as many fast passes as allowed by Disney for a ride like space mountain, then I have every right to do so.
I've not done anything that's against the rules by Disney, if their rides or attractions were meant to be one time only attractions, they they would have never left the "ticket book" pricing model.
That's absurd.
In these discussions the three different things are being confused:
- What is according to the rules,
- What was the original intent,
- What is fair to everyone,
No problem. You and I aren't bad. But Disney isn't bad, either, for adjusting those very rules you weren't breaking in order to spread the FP's around and try to achieve their original intent when they created the FP system: Making the largest number of visitors possible happy with their visit. Looks like FP+ will achieve this even if it makes a minority unhappy enough to stop coming. All is fair in love, war, and Fast Pass.
I, for one, am glad the "running man" game is over! I am hopeful we will get more FP's eventually and more flexibility since so many old FP's that were lost and unused will now be recaptured and redistributed.
