EXPIRED: Part ONE of 2015 CLUB LEVEL (CL) INFORMATION and HELP Thread DO NOT POST HERE!!!

Love the idea of the Lunch ADRs. I think we are going to do Via Napoli and Sci Fi for two lunches and then save some of the dinner ADRs for late evening (think Ohana and Cali Grill). Will probably try ESPN for lunch also (I know we can't make an ADR for this one) b/c DS is a sports fanatic. I will go ahead and book a few more ADRs for later in the week, but as pp mentioned, I can cancel if I find that we are getting enough with QS and CL offerings.

Btw, what is KOOK?

We love Cali Grill and 'Ohana! For us, they are a big part of the trip, as well as a few others, so we do make some ADRs for dinner. We haven't ever made ADRs for lunch because my kids sleep late and we wouldn't have any time at the pool if we spent a few hours at the park and then had lunch. As others have suggested, we also make more ADRs than we will use and then cancel what we don't want. Honestly, we like to have a couple of nights without a dinner reservation. Sounds like you've got a good plan:)

Well – I see what you WL fans were saying. We just stayed at the WL CL for 8 days beginning Easter. Well we are in love. The hotels that we usually stay in are the YC/BC CL and never thought that I would love another resort like those. The WL went above and beyond any expectations.

To start off you are greeted at the front and escorted upstairs. (We just stayed at the Poly in February and this didn’t happen). We were then given a tour of the CL floor and explained the rules. They said our room wasn’t ready (it was about 1pm) – but as soon as we sat to have a snack our room was ready. Since we are a family of 6 we had a deluxe room and I feel we had the best deluxe room at the resort – room 4123. We had a balcony overlooking the pool and the lake. It was breath-taking. The deluxe rooms are wonderful. The bedroom was a great size – there was a small balcony off the bedroom – two sinks outside of the bathroom – nice size living room – the best pull out couch in all of DW (so comfortable) – sink near the refrigerator in the living room – table and chairs in the living room – and the beautiful porch off the living room. What was so nice was the pocket door near the bathroom so you wouldn’t wake anyone up when using the bathroom – also the french doors from the bedroom to the living room.

Every CM was lovely and so helpful – from the bell hops, to the valet desk, to the concierge desk, to the CMs in the lounge. If we went to bring our dishes to the place for dirty dishes – they would thank us.

This year we were trying two new resorts – the Polynesian and the WL. I truly thought the Polynesian was going to be our favorite and it was not – we did not feel the Magic there at all. Our stay at the WL was truly a magical stay and we will be making it our home. :yay: Probably doing split stays with the YC/BC.

YAY! :) What a wonderful trip, thank you for sharing! :D I've never stayed in a deluxe room at the WL, I need to do that!

Thanks so much!!!! I appreciate it! Kook really is very knowledgeable about all things WL, and then some!

You're welcome :).

I agree, KOOK is very knowledgeable ::yes::.

Thanks for your review, glad you had a great time and enjoyed WL CL. The WL really is a great resort with a great CL :goodvibes.

I agree, KOOK is great :thumbsup2

I agree with this as well! I think all the Mods do a fantastic job. I found most of my questions answered in the first post of every resort! :worship::love: to all you guys!

Best case scenario = CL appetizers and F&G or F&W!

Could not agree more! Such a Win/Win combination.

:cloud9: Just posted some pics of my new WDW Pandora bracelet in progress: The Murphy's are LIVE from WDW and Kidani! March 21-28 and April 2-5

So Jealous! I love the safety clasp! I'll have to look for one of those. I made the mistake of buying my bracelet size not realizing how bulky the charms are. I plan picking up a longer bracelet and at least 1 new charm. My 5 year old niece just declared herself "Queen Elsa" so I'm hoping to pick up an Elsa charm and surprise her with the smaller one.

That may seem random, lol, but I was playing with new features and didn't know we could post pics directly from our devices vs photobucket etc.

That was just a practice pic.

I developed that skill during our WL CL trip last year! Having the time to actually do it when you're at WDW is another thing entirely ;) I'm planning on being a picture taking fool at AKL so I'll try to pop some up each evening!

7 Days!!! :hourglass Time seems to slow down as the day approaches.

OOH can't wait. I haven't been there in years.

You will blink tho and it will be over, so enjoy the anticipation.

OK, I've tweaked (again) so a change of plan :rolleyes1 yet to change my countdown ticker but I'm now back at the Beach Club in a garden view CL room. I'm not over happy with some of the changes I've been hearing but end of the day I stay CL for the IPO, lounge to take time out in and the keyed access floor/building, I feel more 'secure' knowing non CL guests can't just wander along the hallways. Can you please add my dates Erika, 17-24 November :flower1:

:dance3:....

Can you see the EWP from all of the Deluxe Rooms in the WL? I requested inner courtyard view open balcony and then out of the blue my DH said "we'll be able to see the water parade, right?". I was thinking we would be able to see it from any of the deluxe rooms, but wanted to ask others experiences. I was hoping for the room area I requested both to be closer to the lounge and b/c I love that inner courtyard view.

I posted this on the WL thread as well.

DisneyFansinNYC, thanks so much for your review! We've stayed at WL three times now, but last month was our first stay at OFC. It's my new favorite! If the discounts line up, we're planning to book a deluxe CL room at WL next year, so I really appreciate your review!

Could you see the Electrical Water Parade from the balcony? That sounds like our perfect room, if we're lucky enough to get it or one of the similar ones, but my DH wants to see the EWP from the room. We've been spoiled by seeing Wishes from our rooms in our last 4 stays, so I guess we hate to give up seeing something from our balcony :)

We are now thinking of splitting our poly stay with BC CL for 3 nights then 6 nights Cl Poly. We will land in Orlando at 5:30.Any chance we'll get there in time for evening
appetizers or is this day a waste of club level and money?
Also, if we did arrive past dinner apps could we ask if they could bring us a little something?

Yes you could see it perfectly and hear it too. It truly was a magical room - 4123. Several nights we went to the beach to watch the Water Pageant - that was wonderful too. Laying on lounge chairs by the water.

This is the view from the WL Deluxe CL room 4123. What a view! The Geyser is just past the pool. You can see that too.
