Does your family stay on-site or off-site when you travel to Walt Disney World?

We stayed at Old Towne Days Inn about 12 years ago. The room was good. Huge full kitchen, 2 beds and a separate room with tv and pull out sofa. Really cheap! If it was my only way of visiting WDW I'd do it again. But if I can even just afford a value resort on property (Pop is quite nice), I'd choose that over the nicest hotel off property. It's the "Disney bubble" experience. Impossible to define but it's real.

both - offsite and onsite - lots of time on the same trip

one reason for staying offsite is there are timeshares and hotels that allow pets.

We always stay on property. I cannot imagine staying anywhere else. I just love the theming of Disney Resorts. Disney makes everything so easy, ME to the resort, luggage transfer and shuttle buses to all the parks.
