Does ANYONE like the Lilo and Stich attraction? (m0

I love Stitch, and I think it's kind of cute. It's not the best thing I've ever seen, but we always go,my ds is getting older, but when he was younger he went on it multiple times each trip......I don't understand some reviews, frankly, but I hate some attractions that others seem to love..so....:confused3

I hated it (I know that's quite strong) as nothing really happens and I'd rather queue for something else like Uzz or Space Mountain. Hated Alien before that too!

Nope the ride is probably one of the worst rides at Disney in my opinion. Went on it once, never again.

wow, lot of negative reviews on here - we like it with some exceptions - DS10 doesn't like the volume, but doesn't like loud noises ANYWHERE (plugs his ears for fireworks :rotfl2:), so Stitch is no exception. DS12 doesn't like the restraints (bit claustrophobic) so he sits up real tall so the restraints don't come all the way down, and he doesn't like the tickle/talk in the ear, so he moves his head forward at bit.

SO, there's ways to avoid the little unpleasantries and still enjoy the shows (boys find the smells funny :goodvibes)

But I agree with the sentiment....try it for yourself to decide. We do it every year, but to each their own. :thumbsup2

I like the attraction but the restraints hurt my shoulders. They are way too tight, and I'm not a big person.

Yes, exactly. My shoulders hurt the rest of the day from this ride- and I'm shorter then most! I couldn't imagine taller people.

For you Stitch fans if you want a great Stitch attraction you need to visit Hong Kong Disneyland someday. They have a Stitch attraction a la Turtle Talk with Crush which is just amazing. My DS19 and I went there last year and had a blast. Stitch even picked him out as "Experiment 627" and kept blaming all of the destruction on him.

Agreed. Being a huge fan of AE I was devastated when the ride was replaced, so I always have a negative attitude towards the Stitch ride and the character. But after experiencing the HK Stitch attraction, I can feel the love is back for Stitch. The show is so much fun and the storyline provides lots of great opportunity for Stitch to interact with guests. The MK Stitch attraction really does not play up Stitch's particular brand of charm.

~I've never experienced the Stitch attraction, I just walk right by it. DH & DD tried it one year, DH hated it and DD could take it or leave it. Since we've been back, DD has never asked about this ride, it's like it doesn't even exist. I know I should try it for myself, but for some reason I just avoid it like the plague, maybe one year I will surprise myself and try it!

The more kids that scream during the attraction, the more I like it:lmao:

Seriously, it's lame and Disney needs to do come up with something else.

I went on it for the first time on our past trip in September (youngest DD was always too afraid to try it, but wanted to this trip) and I didn't think it was that bad. I probably wouldn't go out of my way to do it again unless it is a walk on or we were trying to get out of the rain.

Our family liked it - with 2 boys, 9 & 6. If your kid gets scared in the dark, you might have problems. But if they've been on other scary rides like Tower of Terror at HS by then, this is nothing. Keep your hand on your kids knees or hand for reassurance if needed.

Nothing wrong with some bodily function humor even at Disney. Its what kids like!

seems like everyone I've heard from, dislikes it. My kids (ages 5 & 7) would like to see it but the reviews I've seen haven't been good -- scary, dark, crude, smelly, etc.

Not that they'll be rushing to see it but it is on the short list of attractions but should I steer them away?

It is very true that a lot of people don't like this attraction. Myself, I tried it once and have no desire to ever do it again. I was well warned but wanted to see for myself. I'm glad that I did it just to say that I have but as I said I wouldn't go back. Having said that, everyone has different tastes, the only way to really know if you and your family would enjoy it is to see it for yourselves :thumbsup2.

I went on this last year on my first trip to MK ever. DH is a Stitch fan, so we went on together and left 4yo DS to shop with Gamma. The story was cute and the anticipate and immersion were good, but after the lights went off and the restraints came down nothing happened. We sat there in the dark listening to others on the ride screaming when stitch would 'run' by. I kept wondering when it was going to start doing something. Then the lights came on and the restraints came up and I remember asking DH if our side had been broken or something.

I still have no idea what's supposed to happen in the attraction.

this is the only wdw attraction I recommend that people steer away. the smell is the worst thing i've encountered..ever, including Bourbon Street during Mardi Gras and Dublin during St. Patrick's day. i adored alien encounter and love stitch so i had high hopes but that chili whatever burp smell literally made me sick. i would't suggest anyone go there. tomorrowland could use an update in this regard, although I'm happy with FLE for sure:)
