Oh boy well we are non smokers and I really hope that we don't have to smell smoke while trying to dine. For 2 of us smoke is such an irritant that it causes asthma attacks and I would hate to spend part of our well deserved and much needed family vacation dealing with asthma complications that could potentially be serious.
I wonder why Disney would put a smoking section so close to a dining area?
If it becomes and issue for us during our stay we will surely and respectfully speak to management about it.

Does anyone know the distance around the lake? I'm a jogger and last trip when we stayed a Pop I had to run around the complex. It will be nice to be able to run around the lake this time.

Yes it did! The worst for me last week, though, was during the ToT 10-miler and on the last mile through DHS, I ran by some people smoking....I mean really?

    Hi,
So many pages so I apologize as I'm sure this has been asked but does AoA have its own bus service or does it share with Pop?

Looking at booking a LM room. Seems Bldg 9 might be closest walk to the buses, you could cut through the parking lot?

    Thanks!

    AoA has their own buses.
We were in 9 and just walked through the Lion King section. It took us 7 minutes (my FIL timed everything! From walking to standing in lines - talk about annoying but for this is helpful)

How has the towel situation worked out at the pool? Do they give you plenty of extra towels in your room so that you have pool towels as well as shower towels? Curious! 2 more sleeps until LK suite!

We only had 4 towels in our room but I'm sure you could call for more? DD and DH swam but we had beach towels from the first part of our trip so I'm not sure how they work it there for pool towels.

as a PP mentioned you can call mousekeeping and ask for more. We usually went swimming, then had dinner and just picked up more from the front desk on the way back to the room.

We had plenty of towels daily and would always see housekeeping on our way back from the pool and grab some more.. You take your towels from your room to the pool...

HHuummm, I arrive on October 16. Guess I had better look for my rain poncho, pack my Croc shoes, and fine a nice small umbrella to take, too.

I just checked through my phone and that's just one report. Hopefully it is not true at all. I know it always changes (that's the bad thing about looking too far ahead of time!).

it ALWAYS shows rain during the Hurricane season -- but if you time it right, you will never see it - (the showers come and go in the afternoon in the period of about 20 minutes)
