My TA just dropped off CD's to my desk at work that have the lobby tracks for AKL.
I've come to the conclusion I may ugly cry when we arrive

For those asking about the ETA monitors at Jambo, I just checked out less than 24 hours ago and there were no monitors at the bus stop.

We LOVED everything about the resort and it was our first deluxe stay. We all agreed it will be difficult to go anywhere else in the future.

....don't say that we didn't warn you....

Okay so I switched it up a little since I found a few extra bucks for the vacation budget. We now have a split stay! 3 nights AKL Jambo CL [July 13-16] and 2 nights Contemporary CL [16-18]. So super excited! AKL is my happy place, but DH really liked the look of CR. I think we will have an awesomely special trip!

.....good choice....total opposite ends of the spectrum, but still fantastic, none-the-less....

DH wants to try the CR. He has never stayed at AKL or CR! I was going to do 2 AKL/3 CR, but the CR Tower Club room is so much more $ than the AKL the budget just didn't work with that. Fine with me, more AKL!!

LoL I know many people love CR, but to me it's the Airport resort...Or so it seems.....I wouldn't hesitate to stay there if offered but this wouldn't be one of my top choices...Now AKL/V on the other hand, Is so much more relaxing and tranquil, that it's a vacation within a vacation...Have a great trip.

We just came back from the Poly and booked a bounce back for Dec 11-19 for AKL. While we enjoyed the Poly; it didn't have the WOW factor that AKL does and I can't wait to go back.

Last week there were standard rooms under late summer and passholder rates at AKL.. For Aug 19,20,21
Now it says unavailable. In my past experience I've seen Things disapeer then re appear. What's everyone's opinions on a standard popping back up!? Should I just go ahead and book a more expensive room even though I really want standard, or hold out and keep checking back?

You can use that as an excuse to splurge on Savannah view!

Am looking at possibly staying at Kidnani in a one bedroom villa in April. I never got over there in my previous AKL stay and was wondering if it has any breakfast places or if I must go over to Mara or Boma in the morning? Also, is there a way to close the bedroom off from those sleeping on the living area sofa? Thanks.

They have muffins and coffee and other prepared items in the little shop by the lobby, but no eggs or anything like that. Since you're in a villa you might want to consider buying cereal and milk (that's what we do) or even eggs, bread, etc. and make a few breakfasts. You can get all those things in the shop as well.

36 days left!! We received our luggage tags today. I am so excited, I can barely contain myself DS still does not know that we are staying at AKL. We have ADRs for Boma and Sanaa. It will be our first time eating there.
