Which do you prefer? Do either give a reward for buying eBay cards on Target? I don't think I'm getting that from iConsumer (although they are giving me 1.5% for buying Target cards on eBay).

I just used up a partial eBay gift card. I wrote the balance on the back, but just in case, is there somewhere that it is "stored" on the website? Or at least somewhere I can go to check the balance? I can't seem to find anywhere on PayPal or eBay to check the remaining balance on a gift card.

Interesting. The order I placed yesterday had a combination of new and old eBay gift cards. The old cards showed up in the system like always - proper card #, labeled "eBay Gift Card", show up in history of used cards. The cards I purchased the past few days act like you describe: on the payment receipt they're alphanumeric, not just numbers, they're labeled as "Gift Card" with the word "eBay" missing, and they don't show up at all on the ledger where you see all the gift cards you've used at once.

I suspect the problem is with the shift in how the numbers are stored in the PayPal database. Once they figure out it's not working and come up with a solution, you'll be able to access that information again.

You can check eBay gift card balance on ebay. Just click Gift Cards at the top and the link is in the middle of the page - https://giftcards.ebay.com/balance

I keep all of my GC numbers in my spreadsheet and strike through them once I know they're empty.

Mypoints will give you around 1.2% for purchasing Ebay gift cards through Target. I just used it again yesterday and it worked.

I took a look at your spreadsheet and don't fully understand it. For example, it says that you are purchasing $325.79 from Target for $309.56.

This order includes 2 $150 gift card, 1 $25 gift card, and a notebook bought with red card, so it comes out to be~309. I probably recounted some saving multiple times.

I tend to stick with just a couple tried and true sites, rather than doing a lot of different ones. The whole process is complicated enough without adding in a slew of different rewards websites to the mix.

Same here. I use ebates, tcb and swagbucks. And that is enough for me. I might would earn more if I began using mypoints and iconsumer but I think I might lose my mind in the process.

I'm not sure why it does this, but the first time it happened I waited several days. I was kinda starting to freak out, then finally asked here and someone shared the targetecards site and there they were! Ever since, I haven't had any show up in my email.

I need a good shopping portal for this churning. I have been using iConsumer, but reached my monthly limit for eBay rewards from them. I belong to MyPoints. Should I use them until iConsumer opens up for me next week or is there a better one?

Items I've used in the past have been rulers, notebooks, index cards, glue sticks, clearance paper plates, pack of pencils, and cotton balls. All under a dollar. I have used Ebates at Ebay, as well, but then I found that Topcashback was usually offering at least a little bit more, so a few more dollars was great! I've been happy with both places.

Glad I had the Chrome Ebates extension, I almost forgot to link thru ebates tonight when buying some cards at Target!

Yes. My order tonight, after the 5% Target discount, is $428.06 and the Ebates cashback is $8.56 which is 2%. I usually get something either we can use, or I can donate for students or kids who work on crafts where I work.

I was completely maxed out on my 5k limit. No more money opening until May 3. Yet I ran $900 worth of gift cards through last night. Super happy about that! Still keep wondering why they changed this though...
