When my periodic table shower curtain goes, I think I might need this one! Blair my not agree...

I'm also really curious about that blanket.

That sounds cool too! We wanted a Halloween one, but Amazon sent the wrong one so we never reordered it. But I've wanted this one for awhile. Josh said he got the Jaws one so it's my turn now.

I'm curious too. It's cute, but I'm not sure what it'll look like and feel like in person.

Really enjoying following along. We'll be there same time as you - only for 4 nights though. But it's just a 3 hr drive for us, so WDW always ends up being an extended weekend-type trip vs a full blown vacay.

Bet you can't wait to spring that AKL surprise - Josh will be so thrilled. My husband and I are big time animal lovers and I know I'd be very excited. AK is my favorite park next to MK - we can easily spend 2-3 hours just watching the animals on the walking trails.

We're scheduled for AK in afternoon/early evening of the 12th - I was hoping for longer hours, but it still says 7pm.:worried: I guess that could change quickly if ROL comes into play.

Hi there :wave2: Hope you guys had a nice Thanksgiving! I agree with you, I'm SO not a fan of the new MB's, at least not from what I've seen. I guess I should wait to judge until I have one......we'll see.
I cannot wait to hear what Josh's reaction was when he finds out where you're staying! Also excited to hear about Dine with an Animal Specialist since I don't think I've ever read a review of that. Love the Expedition Leader t-shirt BTW :)

Tonight we're thinking of taking a trip to see Lights in the Park and then seeing Moana!

Here's some pictures from Lights in the Park last year:

Oh wow I think we live in the same town! :rotfl2: We saw those lights on the trial run night when it was free for walkers. We even rode a trolley and met Santa. It was fun! I'm probably not going to pay to drive through until my kids are out of car seats.

I hope you liked Moana! I want to see it too.

I haven't had much time for spending on here, but I'm caught up again :)

You're now so close to your trip! All of your outfits are adorable, as usual! I can't wait to hear about Josh's reaction when you finally tell him where you're staying! I'm also very interested in hearing about the dining with an Animal Specialist...that seems like something that would be right up my alley...

You are sooooo clooooose!! AHHHH!!!

(That's me in my pig tails and you in your Slytherin hat.)

I love the shirt and the binoculars for the surprise - good job!!

:rotfl2:

I vote for the afternoon at AK after Dine with an Animal Specialist! Depending on what you talk about, they may tell you things about the animals at AK and you'll want to go and see for yourself. More Time at AK = Better.

I love the part where she jumps out the window :rotfl: I'm thinking about it still, it might be our only chance to do Soarin with a FP, but it seems to make more sense to go to AK. :scratchin

Haha. I tried to use the quotes but it wasn't working so I just took the pic from your post. So hilarious!

I can't help you there..I would choose AK over Soarin' any day. But I would also choose lots of things over Soarin' so...

Wow. That just reminded me. I probably should take Becky to Soarin'. <groan> I'll have to think about that. It probably would be good to try it again. I've only ridden it once. It was a terrible experience. We were in the lower left corner and it felt just like the regular Omni movies at the science museum. Nothing special. I didn't feel like I was soaring over anything. Not worth the wait or the use of a FP+. Especially with the tiered system.

On Sunday we'll have an early breakfast at the resort

Boma!!!!!!

Josh has been asking to go to it ever since the first time he saw it, and it is his birthday.

I'm curious how this goes. I've heard mixed reviews. But if you aren't expecting a lot, it'll probably be great!

So though we're snacking around the world a bit our dinner reservation isn't till much later.

It's a midnight snack! :rotfl:

I end up not trying at all what I planned.

I never eat all that I plan either! I need to just do it!

So we decided to just see it without the dessert party. Wish us luck finding spots, because I'm always running late for everything.

I think that's a good call. And you should be able to find something. Good luck!

We saw Moana and it was amazing!

Yay!! Blair and I are going to see it this weekend. And we're going to go and see Fantastic Beasts at another theater with (hopefully!) better sound.

And I have sad news about the shower curtain.

So sad!! What about the mermaid blanket?

But in better news... it's time for the single digit dance!

YAY!!!!

Interesting thing about Soarin': it used to make me completely nauseous. I couldn't open my eyes on it AT ALL. So last week I rode it because I really wanted to try seeing the new movie, knowing I'd be lucky if I saw 20 seconds of it. Well for whatever reason I didn't get nauseous on it this time :confused3 :worship: Ok at one point I felt a little icky and closed my eyes for like 3 seconds but that was IT. No idea why but I was thrilled because the new Soarin' is absolutely beautiful. I rode it a 2nd time when Steve and Ricky came down - same positive experience. So I suggest trying it, simply because it's such a gorgeous movie now it's worth trying and seeing if you feel any better on it :)
I'm jealous of you Boma breakfast! Loved it so much in January. That is a heavy food day though lol. I understand going to San Angel for Josh since it's his birthday and I hope you guys enjoy it. I wanted to try it since it was 1 of 3 WS restaurants we hadn't eaten in and I'm glad we went, you probably remember we didn't love it but it certainly wasn't bad. Plus avocado margarita :drinking1
