Just read the news that 28 people were shot by 2 gunmen at an elementary school in Connecticut. Prayers for all of the families in that situation. Truly horrific.

I'm stunned as I listen to this news on the radio. I can't even imagine what those families are experiencing....

How it looks is we will be doing 3DL MMH and 2 CA MMH so carsland is def the first stop during the first day, thank you for the tip

Oh and I HIGHLY recommend the DL version of Fantasmic. Touring Plans ranks it as one of the things that DL does better than WDW.

I hadn't heard that, thank you, I heard pirates and a few other rides were longer at DL then at WDW also

Its kind of hard to talk attractions when something so tragic just occurred. My prayers are with these families, and those that had to endure such horrific events.

Just wanted to give my $0.02 on DLR:

Fantasmic at Disneyland is pretty amazing. It does top WDW in my book, but I love the ability to get good seating at WDW... which is nice. I would try and start reserving a spot about 2 hrs in advance. That may seem extreme, but its well worth it. If you can get a spot right up against Rivers of America the show feels so close, you can practically touch the Pirate Ship.

PotC is also longer, esp. the beginning... pretty great stuff. I also prefer Space Mtn at DL to WDW, esp. with the awesome soundtrack onboard.

On Dave Ramsey radio show earlier, he already had planned to take stories about people who were giving this holiday season. It was a way to think about some good news in light of the tragedy. I'm going to try and stay there.

Officially done with work until after the holidays. Finished a conference call approving the grant proposal with just a few minor changes. Submitted and done. Told my other clients unless your place is on fire and really need me to help put it out, I'll see you at the Christmas party.

Where is the egg nog?

Woohoo, our March cruise on the Dream is officialy paid for.

I will def try, never been to DL so been researching the boards for tips and trying to figure out how many days of tix and if we need hoppers plus going to do the Halloween party so extra for those tix, it'll be fun but a lot to learn

I've never been and will only make it there once. So, no hoppers for me. I plan to enjoy every bit of it as long as possible. One day ticket to each.

Once again, we see the state government employee setting the example of hard work and dedication.
