I've read in some threads that if you go to GS upon arrival they will give you a return time for one ride. True? Would love to save some running around. :)

The DAS was designed to work in conjunction with the Fast Pass Plus system.

First thing to do is create your My Disney Experience account as far ahead of time as you can for you and all in your party INCLUDING the person getting the DAS card.

Purchase your tickets ahead of time and link them to the MDE account.

Make Fast Pass Plus reservations for your party ahead of time so that you know you will have three no-wait attractions scheduled before you arrive.

Then, when you get to the park, get the DAS for the appropriate person when Guest Services lines look short. REMEMBER, ALL PERSONS RIDING WITH THE DAS PERSON MUST BE AT GUEST SERVICES WHEN THE CARD IS CREATED.

For attractions that you want to ride using the DAS card, anyone in your party can get the return time scheduled on a solo visit to the attraction.

Whether or not you have/need a qualifying RFID media (card, magicband) is something you need to determine.

My understanding is that if you get your card at the in-park GS, they may put a first time on the card for you, if you ask. More people have reported this happening at DL than WDW. I think it's one of those things that's worth asking the day you receive the card. On other days, the wait to be seen at GS may not make it worth even trying.

You only need everyone at gs if you are asking for more than six people (das holder plus five). More than six requires approval of a supervisor and they have to see everyone.

I'm going to re-direct this post to the main disABILITIES forum from the Community Board -- and also recommend the OP check out the thread titled "WDW Disability Access Service..." for more details about the DAS.

Enjoy your vacation!
