If you're left you won't see this, but I'll ask anyway...what does being alone have to do with making it harder to wait in lines. It would seem to me that you can either wait in lines or you can't...I'm not clear on why being alone would make it harder.
I am not to OP and can't speak for her. I believe her line of thinking is she could be waiting outside the line and could take care of any medical need that she has and join her party when they were close to the front. The OP was trying to explain that, being alone, that idea was not a possibility. At least that is my understanding.
Whether her idea was a possibility or not was not the issue. You are right, it doesn't have anything to do with requesting the DAS.
