DH and I are sailing on the Wonder without the kids 11/12/09. As you can see from my sig, we have some pirate costumes that we would love to wear again. Can anyone tell me if adults tend to wear costumes for this event?
Thanks for the compliment. We spent more $$ than we should have on those costumes, but sure had fun at MNSSHP!! Even had a "dream" that we attributed to the way we were dressed. Of course, DS (16) was wearing his regular clothes.....
Jack Sparrow makes an appearance at the party??!!
OK, now which is more exciting? Going on a cruise with DH (with Jack Sparrow costume )or seeing Disney's Jack Sparrow?
Is he in character? Meaning does he act like Jack too?
Oh yes, he sure does!!!!
check this out, makes me laugh every time!!

Anyone know where to get cheap adult costumes. We have a hat, but thats it. DD has a full costume though.
That's what my sister and I did, got our costumes on sale 50% off on November 2nd this year for the pirate party on our cruse last week. Great deal, plus we have them for a nice halloween costume this year!Depending on when you sail, you might be able to get costumes for a good price the day after Halloween. Usually all the stores have great clearance! I found a costume for DD that would exactly match mine, but did not buy it as I figured she would outgrow it before we could wear them together.
Thanks for all the replies. We will definately bring our costumes.
Another question. Is the menu different the night of the pirate party on the Wonder? We have been poring over menus and trying to decide which night to eat a Palo. So far we would like to eat at Palo on our first night which we hope will be Animator's rotation.
Here's ours:
I made our costumes.
