Hello! Welcome and come along for my Spring Break 2012 Photography TR! After 29 trips you would think I would have done a TR this before!! This trip will take us through all 4 parks, DTD, POR and of course we will be seeing lots of FOOD!
Im a mom from the Midwest and I went to WDW for the first time in high school with the band as we preformed in MK and Epcot (I was a Color Guard gal). I later became a travel agent and our offices Disney Specialist. This gave me the opportunity to frequent WDW and see so many extras an average tourist doesnt take time to do. Although Im no longer a travel agent, we still attempt to go to WDW every year or every other as time and $ allows.
In my spare time I've tried to become a self taught semi decent photographer. I love taking photos at WDW and have learned the art of shooting on the run to keep up with the family. I love the rides where the family goes without me and I have 20 minutes to go shoot without them having to wait on me.
On this trip were me, my DH, DD18, DS15 and DS friend also 15.
We stayed at POR March 23-April 1 in the AB section.
We had building 36, room 3645. It was our least expensive option with 5 people and worked out great. We arrived at noon and our room, in the new refurbished section was ready. I had chose not to do on line check in so I could be sure that my request were made before I was give a room assignment. Our check in was quick and easy. The lady we checked in with lacked Disney Magic. Not really welcoming at all, maybe just a bad day.
We did have a second floor room which was not ay favorite but I had forget to request lower level so my fault. We had a garden view room which was very nice and pretty. I usually dont worry about the view too much, we dont really spend that much time in our room to enjoy it. But when the kids are older and Im not running all the time, Board walk Balcony, here I come!!!
