What are historically the cheapest days to fly (such as days of the week). We want to go to WDW next year but it woudl totally depend on teh cost of flights since there are 5 of us!
Thursday evening and Monday morning are consultant flights and those flights are CRAMMED full of high paying biz travelers and are rarely "cheap"I've noticed it depends on the airlines and how far in advance you book. Usually what I see when booking flights, the most expensive days to fly are Friday, Sunday and Monday. Cheapest days are Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday & Saturday. I've been able to find flights for Fri., Sun., and Mon. at the same rates as the other days by booking out far enough in advance, or by constantly checking back. Sometimes you can catch the right deals at the right time.

See bold. Not sure if you checked for next week or 3 months from now. Biz travelers tend to book with less than 14 day advance notice which still allows the OP to possibly find a reasonable fare. SWA also attracts lots of leisure travelers If the OP is trying to book for a school holiday period that SWA has already released dates for the seats could already be sky high.Had to test your theory. Just looked at SW and priced flights leaving on Thursday. From what I saw, the morning flights are just as expensive as the EVENING flights. Yes, the may be more crammed, but they are just as cheap as the earlier flights. Plus if the OP is like me who likes to get to WDW early, I'm almost guessing she won't want to travel in the evening.
