If one doesn't want to get off the ship during Castaway Cay day, is food still served on the ship?
I want to get off the ship. I'm traveling with my mother. This is her first ever cruise. But she doesn't take to cool winds too well. Our cruise sets sail Thursday, the 19th, and according to weather.com it's going to be in the mid-80's. On top of being on an island w/ a tropical breeze, she will still feel that it's too cool.
I think she's nuts personally. *lol* If she doesn't want to get off the ship she can stay. I'll be in the adult area soaking up some sun and enjoying the tropical breezes!

Even if its only for a half hour or so, I'd encourage her to at least take a quick walk at Castaway Cay.
Seriously! It's beautiful and she can bring a sweater.
I have a question along these lines!! We are doing a B2B and we plan on staying on board for the second cruise when we dock at Castaway Cay.
First, congrats on doing a B2B!
Once again, even if you don't feel like going to the beach, if the weather is decent, I'd want to at least get off the ship for a bit. If nothing else, why not take the walk and have lunch on the island, then go back...
