I did notcie a bit when skimming through, that some of you had some great ideas of touring plans for chicago.. I have just one thing to say....


Go with their ideas!! cause I have NO idea how to tour chicago! we live 45 miles out and , except for visiting my dad, on the outskirts, we haven't visited chicago in , um 20 years?

in fact, you are such a good planner and researcher, maybe YOU could take US on a Chicago tour?? lol just kidding.

we could, however, tell you where the best bars and restaurnats were, backi in the 70's....

and then told me I couldn't get there from where I was!

Her name is Kelly, but the kids and the DH want to change her name to Lilly. She is 3 years old and a real sweetie.

But I just went through this place and it had no polar bears roaming the streets or snow falling. My tour guide promised me. Wah. I paid big bucks to see such things. Totally disappointed. Maybe on the way back.

Here's my excuse.

While our desktop computer in the basement has been perfectly happy...
And while my iPod has been perfectly happy...

My laptop has not.
It froze up on me the other day and was stuck for a bit.
I had to go back and recover an older saved version.
Which I did. And it's fine.
But.
Windows has to update which slo o o o o o w s everything down.
Plus I figured I'd better run a full virus scan, just to be safe.

All this takes forever.

And? So? You just said your desktop and iPod are fine.
So why aren't you posting an update?
Didn't you promise us some Ottawa trip info?
What gives?


Geez you people are demanding!
Just kidding. I live for those thirsty for more of my drivel.

The laptop is where I put and fix all my photos.
So until it (the laptop) is ready, I'm stuck.

So the virus scan is at 64%...
Then when it's done I have to reboot so Windows can do what Windows does.

THEN I can upload my pics from the trip and get cracking on some updates.
I really want to get 'em done before we leave for Niagara falls.

So... soon.
