Hoping that they are unusual enough that someone won't already have it already...
Noted.
And the thought had crossed my mind...

Wow, you got a day flight? Fantastic. I thought you just enjoyed the punishing 7 am flights!
Nope! But I do enjoy paying hundreds less
if that's the case, which it occasionally is.

I know, right? Someone really screwed up the signage down this hallway.
Ah! So you've noticed it too!

I was a rebel last time - I usually stake out a seat at the gate, but this time I sat in the comfy chairs close to some of the restaurants, under a skylight, and tried to soak in the last rays of Florida sunshine.

Smart cookie.
You know why I didn't do that?

Because I'm stupid.

Plenty of time!

:sad2:

Don't they hold the plane for you if they know that you are in the airport and have a tight connection?

They do... But for how long?
And not always.
Every situation is different.

Yes, but they didn't page you by name yet, so still plenty of time!
 Maybe!

So you're saying I should've sat down
and had a drink.

Hmmmm, I think this is an oxymoron in my world - tie dyed clothing is still wearable. I'm going with red for good, but you will now start a new fashion trend.

iPod charger

Timbits

Edmonton

On time

White Christmas - Bing Crosby, Danny Kaye, Rosemary Clooney, Vera Allen, singing and dancing - it just doesn't get any better!

Noted.
And I'm ashamed to say I've never seen it.
And that's possibly my favourite Christmas song!

So sorry you had to wake up and go home.

You were sorry!! :faint:

Ruby probably wasn't.

I need to find a wife who insists
I stay at Disney longer.

Nice you actually slept in.

It's a rarity.

And, yes... it sure was!

Whew! Good thing you are a sprint walker.

I think I could clean up
at Olympic race walking.

I feel good about my standings in the contest. I managed to stay in the game, (thanks to your kindness and the patience of my fellow guests) and I am solidly in The Middle. Who watches that show? It really cracks me up.

Yep! Doing not too shabby. :)

I don't watch it... but I hear
really good things about it.

I may binge watch it
if it's on Netflix.

I did that with "How I met your mother."
Loved that one.

My answers:
1. The shorts stay red. You should mail them to NM and see if Lady H can live up to her Stain Queen title!
2. Toothbrush
3. Poutine, definitely Canadian
4. Calgary
5. Early by a few minutes
6. Purple Hearts , which no one has seen. Or An Officer and a Gentleman. (Chick flicks) Excited for the new Pirates movie this Spring!

Noted.
And nope. Never heard of it.

But... Cheryl Ladd? Hello!

Been a long time since
I've seen Officer and a Gentleman.

My choice for the plate:
1TOGO
That is so perfect, considering your frequent visits to the Harley store.

Noted.

(I will be praying for Ruby, BTW is she a worrier? Okay, I will pray for you too, because I am a worrier)

Awwww.... Thanks.

As for Ruby...

That story is too long for this.

When do you take delivery and hit the road?
Last fall, actually.
Managed to get out on it a few times.

We just did something crazy and bought a car online . We got sick of dealing with dealers and the bait and switch. So we used Carvana. Not sure if you have heard of it, but used cars with warranties and return guarantee. Rated well, so why not? The TV commercial says, "In my kimono bought a car" Well, it was just about like that. :rotfl2: They will bring the car here to our apartment and pick up our old van for trade in. I will keep you posted.

Yes! I want to know how it turns out!
What kind of car?

So good to see you back. Whether it is because life is giving a tiny reprieve or because you just needed to have it so you took it, stepping away for just a little can refresh the soul! Regardless of its necessity, you were missed very much. Random, out of no were hugs are the best, so give out many of them!

Fair enough.

Fair is my middle name.
I cheated to get it.

Where does fossilized feces fall in that spectrum?

Here's the rundown, from bad to worst:
rocks
fossilized feces
feces
rocks covered in feces
fossilized feces covered in feces

Science, people.

999HH (999 happy haunts)
4U2NV (for you to envy)

Ok, I only voted for 2. Those stood out to me since I couldn't vote for myself. I like the 999HH one. It is definitely something that seems random and most people wouldn't get it, but it would have that secret meaning to you and the true Disney fan.

Noted.
And that's a very good point.

Tough call. You probably did the right thing... but man, that's a tough one.
T'warn't easy!

Look at you! I never knew you were the expert on spitting!

I expect I am an expectorant expert.

Big baby.

Takes one to know one!!!

Well that's some impressive customer service. :sad2:

A model for all other customer service industries.

In other words, when you aren't sashaying, you don't waste any time?

Keerect.

That's a win in my book.

Mine too, actually.

Well, I give you credit for not leaving shoe prints on their foreheads.
Oh, I would have, but....
I'm Canadian. I'd have to apologize after.

And that takes time.

Whew! That was close!

Yup!

Um... red

Your new credit card

Timmy's

Eeenie meenie, I don't know... Calgary

On time

Jurassic Park

Noted.

I almost went with that one.
Both great flicks.
I like this answer. Let's be honest, we're all judging him. :rotfl2:
:lmao:

That's very true. And once the ice melt, we can just get the cat to drain the puddle off the floor.

See? Win win!

I knew it!!!

Nope, completely empty!

But if you're having trouble, I'm probably right behind the family of four who got in line while the rest of her party (seven more people including two EVCs) was still going through security, only to let them join them in front of me.

Sounds about right.

I started my Disney days with the motto of No Sleep At Disney.

It's since gone out of the door. Last month we slept in until about 9. It was glorious.

I doubt I'll ever know how this feels.
Maybe if Ruby came with me.
That'd force me to slow down.

Then again, she's an early riser, so....

That pay off just doesn't seem worth it, does it?

Nope.
Unless I start going to Uni exclusively.

I'd take a Mickey bar!

Perfect! This is what we'll do then.
I'll take the $1,000 and I'll buy you
a Mickey bar. Deal?

Good lord I hate that. Like, don't get me somewhere if I can't go anywhere from there, geez.

And really, there is no logic to the extra hour. I just don't get it.

Zero logic.
Just an extra hour to sit around.

That's rough. People should have more compassion

I know right?
Let the grown man cry like a baby in peace!

Now that's a surprise

When was the last time you saw
a Starbucks without a line up?

Amber and I cry every time we watch it.

Sometimes, if you catch her at the right time, Amber will cry at the sole mention of Tadashi.

"He never got to see Baymax help people "

Awwwww.... poor Amber.
Give her a hug for me.

No. Really. Go hug her right now
and tell her it's from Ponzi.

I mean... technically. You *have* time. What state you make it on the plane in is no concern of theirs.

And technically they were right.
I did make it after all.

Phew! That was a run!

I know when Amber still lived in Michigan and Air Canada still offered flights into Grand Rapids, that was always a trek.

I can't remember what gate the flight from Montreal would land in, but the departure was at the very, very end of gate F. You actually had to walk outside to get to your plane.

Did you have to run?
When I lived up north,
we would embark/disembark outside too.

Which really sucks in the middle of winter, no?

Because someone at Toronto Pearson decided that the legal connecting time in Toronto is 1 hour and 10 minutes.

In Montreal, it's 40 minutes actually.

They cray.

::yes:: They cray.

Hello!

Hello

Hello

Is there anybody IN there?

Just nod if you can hear me.....

Is there anyone home?

Why yes... yes there is.
I'm posting again
which may cause adverse reactions...

There'll be some more aaaaaaaah!
But you may feel a little sick.

Hey Pkondz. Long time fan. Awesome report. Look forward to your continuing adventures
Well hi there!
:welcome: to the TR!

Sorry, you came in at an opportune time
and I'm only getting around to welcoming you now.
My apologies.

Hopefully you won't have to wait quite so long
for another update! :)

Well, about that...not that it matters too much now, but I did suggest THNDR vv

D'oh! Sorry about that.
Take some bonus points as a consolation.

For my picks, for a Disney related one I do like 999HH.
I also would pick MVOVR or OPNRD

Noted.

See, here I thought it was 92 feet. I'm glad you cleared that up.

92? 92???
Don't be silly!

Sheesh!

Agreed, but I fear Magical/Tragical Express will soon become one of the ever growing list of up-sells and extra fees.

When that happens, I'll never board again.

Actually pay for the convenience
of leaving an extra hour early?

Pass.

I've gone though those before. I feel bad for the person on the other end. I'm sure when you first think of that job, it sounds like sitting there getting paid to look at Sports Illustrated Swimsuit magazines all day, but the reality is far from that.

Not only that, but all the SI swimsuit models
are going by private jet and not going
through those machines.

I've always thought that Canada really shouldn't be considered International.

Yup.
Ah well.

I'm usually very deep into an interesting Friday night before I have a dribbling problem. :rolleyes1

1. shorts are done, never get the red out.
2. something for your camera. battery?
3. Coffee Crisp
4. Edmonton
5. Late
6. I'll say Star Wars, but I have a hard time picking favourites. I have a pretty wide taste in movies. I could have just as easily said The Sound of Music.

Noted.

Okay I guess that I better get in my guesses before you post an update. I will have to re look at the questions.

Standing by.

Getting caught up today and I just saw your post, I am so sorry for the loss of your MIL, Please give Ruby my condolences too.

Thank you!

Saw Steel Magnolias for the first time in the theater when it first came out with my parents at the AMC at what was the "Disney Village Marketplace" at the time, on New Year's Day, no less. As we were leaving, my dad said that "you know a movie is sad when you hear lots of men coughing." Definitely a chick flick/tearjerker but it is a great movie.

Huh... Think I'll have to make an effort
to see it then.

Yay!

:yay:   :yay:

So happy to see you back online!

I am?? Oh yeah! I am!

Arrgghh!!! Quick! @franandaj , when are you leaving??

Okay I have made my picks.
1) Red for good even though you try all the tricks that are suggested on the internet.
2) Tripod
3) Beaver Tails as I know that they have them in Banff and I just loved them when I was there. I am not going to guess poutine since I don't like it.
4) Calgary
5) On time
6) My favourite Christmas movie and a must watch every year is White Christmas and my favourite movie to watch is Meatballs with Bill Murray as it was filmed up near my cottage when I was a teenager.
My licence plate picks are FREDM, OPNRD & L8TER

All noted.
Another White Christmas fan!
Meatballs... man, it's been years.

SO NICE TO SEE YOU HERE PONZ!!! I'm riding waaaay backseat driver in the back of a bumpy van on tyhe way to Dallas with Mark and Lindz and 3 of the kiddos.

Thanks Tammie! :)
How was the ride?

This tablet is getting mixed messages, so just stopped by to offer more :grouphug: to you and yours

Thanks, Tammie.

Is that the drink with Tomato Juice, vodka, and Clam Juice? :crazy2: I love steamed clams, linguine and clams with white wine sauce, New England Clam Chowder....but clams and tomato don't mix!

Yup.

And... you have no idea.
Sooooo good.

Ashamed for my grammar fail.

The latter is what was intended.

I know. I was just bugging you.

I would say Old School is new school, but it is already 14 years old, so it's practically a classic by now.

14??? How is that even possible?

I do find myself watching a LOT of Disney movies now that my DD is almost 4. Mary poppins is quickly becoming a favorite of mine. Hated it as a kid, but as an adult, I find it much more funny. Mr. banks might be my favourite character. His opening song is genius. "It's 6:03 and the heirs to my dominion, are scrubbed and tubbed, and adequately fed. I'll pat them on the head, and send them off to bed."

Quite possibly my favourite Disney movie.

I'm still scheming some more ride pics. Your splash mountain is still my benchmark to beat.

Post if you do!

Post if you do!

This picture isn't really a funny one of me (sadly, I failed at my bunny ears attempt. Poor angle) -- but the looks on my daughters' faces are priceless.

Keep in mind -- this isn't expedition everest. It's Frozen Even After.
